Although the hotel is far from Kofu Station and has some dated aspects such as the unit bath, the room was clean and the soundproofing was good, so I was able to sleep quietly without hearing any noise from the windows facing the main street or from next door.
The breakfast buffet was also very comfortable and had a wide selection of local dishes, including Yamanashi hoto and inland-farmed trout sashimi.
The hotel is also adjacent to the old-fashioned entertainment and entertainment district, so it's a good location for those who want to enjoy the city at night or if you have a rental car.

+1
The room was smelly, need to be renovated. If you are not sensitive about smell, the hotel could be an option.
I didn’t expect much, but just needed a clean room for a good sleep. When I stepped into the room, smelled something like an human aging odor. I had kept the window opened for for a while though, the odor was remain same. Plus, its bathroom smelled musty, too. Everything other than smell were good.

The hotel is a little way out (15 min walk) from the railway station, worth a cab ride if you've got any luggage.
I think the hotel is great for 1 or 2 night stays. Alas I was there for eight nights, the room began to close in Japanese hotel rooms are small, it's just the way it is. I did get used to the firm (by western standards bed and pillow), when I got back home i was considering changing my own arrangements for a much firmer mattress.
The room was small clean and functional, with a desk to work at and double bed. The internet was fast and connection easy.
Opposite reception is the breakfast room, breakfast is functional rather than lavish, once I got used to the arrangement, I found it more than enough to keep me going to lunch.
The hotel backs on to the bars and restaurant district, so plenty of choice in the evenings, to which end the hotel reception distribute a hand map and guide. What I missed until the last night of my stay was the hotel's own top floor restaurant. Choose your time and you'll get a great sunset view of Kofu and beyond, Mt Fuji as you eat.
A feature of my trip to Japan was the welcome and care I received every where I went, the staff at this hotel just added to my who experience.

Washington Hotel Is around a 15min walk from Kofu station. It’s simple and functional as expected for a Japan province town hotel. Just a stone throw are a lot of restaurants and bars. Will come back on my next stay. A must a Kofu grapes on sale around town when in season. I’m not a grapes person but these are melt in your mouth and easily addictive!

Stayed at the hotel for a week. Room was in a good size compared to other hotels in Japan, and in it a double bed, fridge, tv and desk. Bathroom was small but ok.
Breakfast was very simple, some bread rolls, boiled eggs and soup from a machine. No tea, only coffee, and nothing to spread on the bread.
The hotel is located about a 15 minute walk from Kofu station, and in walking distance of restaurants and convenient stores.

Bit of a hike from JR Kofu station - about 20 minutes with luggage, but we soon learnted the bus schedules and used them to get around. Great little business hotel with great views from even the lower floor lift lobbies. Close to night club and eating houses was very convenient. Breakfast was included and quite well presented - including on-site bakery with a menu that changes daily. Kofu was an ideal location for us to tour by public bus to Kawaguchiko station and from there to explore the forest and caves at Jukai Aokigahara forest.

Room was as described, laundry was functional and clothes were washed and dried.
All in all a pleasant experience
The windows were able to open so we could cool the room down as the building heat is controlled centrally.

I go with my husband who attend a seminar in Yamanashi University. We left the hotel using a bus to Kofu Station. He forgot where he last see his backpack as he bussy helping an old lady stepping of the bus when we arrived at the station. We rush back to the hotel and the hotel staff help us track the bus and communicate with the bus company/driver to locate the bag. Fortunatelly, they found the bag at the back of the bus where he left it. Although we find difficulties in communication (not all reception staff has a good english, I use google translate at first😊) but they really help us with our difficulties. The room is average size of Japanesse hotels, but the ceiling is a bit more than my last hotel. The room is clean, the view are good (upper floor, ours are 10th) just less in variety of breafast
