Yes, you should contact the hotel. However, based on my recollection of the room layout, it is highly unlikely that there is room to "squeeze in" a cot. In the room we had, there was little space between the foot of the bed and the wall. Maybe they could fit one between the window and the adjacent bed. Just ask.
