Comfortable beds. Great location. Nice restaurants. Clean rooms. Went up to the 15th floor for some cocktails which were great and only cost 500¥ each which was a nice way to take in the sights of the Kanazawa skyline and relax. Would come back.

We stayed at the Hotel Kanazawa in August were very happy there. The hotel is a short walk from the station and fairly easy to find. Our room was a suite with a separate lounge area and was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and Japanese in terms of what was offered, just don't look for cereal although there was... ...for Kanazawa JR Station; literally just outside the station's east exit. If you're visiting other parts of this city, this hotel is about 15-20 minutes walk from the tourist attractions and shopping districts etc. If that doesn't bother you (it's not that far, is it?!) then this is a well priced, convenient stopover. The room was huge. Certainly the biggest... More

Unlike the huge Kanazawa Miyako Hotel sign that can be easily seen from the East Gate of the train station, the Hotel Kanazawa sign is blocked from view by the bus departure gates so walk to the left for a minute and you will reach the hotel. The twin room is big for a Japanese sized room. Rooms are clean... More

Stayed for one night at this hotel. Rooms are spacious and beds are bigger than usual in Japan as well as comfortable. The hotel has no fitness room nor other ammenities. Restaurant's food is good and well served. Location is right by the central railway station. Some smoking odor in the rooms.

We stopped here for a one night stopover while on a tour of Honshu. It is close to a railway station. Room while not lavish was adequate. Buffet breakfast included both Japanese and Western items. Unfortunately we did not stay long enough to enjoy other meals there.

A very nice hotel with well appointed rooms and excellent staff. The location is close to Jr trains and bus station. Good restaurants all around. Rooms are spacious with lots of space for luggage and all the typical japanese amenities.

Janesco did it again; my wife and I stayed here as part of a tour group in room #908 from 4th to 6th April. The room was big the beds comfy and breakfast was all we could ask for. On top of that it was clean and quiet. Plenty of restaurants next door and the attractions in the city were... More

Hotel Kanazawa is practically next door to the major rail station so access if you are travelling by train is just a short walk. Staff were very welcoming and efficient and contributed to our overall positive impression of the hotel. The room was clean with modern decor and was functional. We thought the room was quite spacious. Bathroom was small... More

One of the nicest hotels we stayed in Japan, its a mix of nostalgia and style. We were allotted a lower floor and on requesting the reception went through the trouble of reassigning a room on the top floor, even though we had checked in quite late! Really appreciate the gesture. The property is well located opposite the JR train... More
