Great location because it’s near the train station. The town is walkable. The room was clean. We got the two person room so it’s small but very comfortable. We enjoyed the onsen spa on the roof top everyday!

Location: East side of Takayama train station, approximately 5 minutes walk from there. Easily within walking distance to many Takayama tourist attractions.
Interior Décor: Better than average Japanese business hotels, though not luxurious by any means.

The lobby and restaurant do smell of smoke but if you can deal with it for check-in/travelling through the rooms are worth it and don't smell at all.
