Located on Higashi Dori the hotel lobby is set back from the street so is hard to see. Staff had limited English but they try their best to assist. The twin room was fair sized with lots of lighting. Bathroom was compact but workable and the controls for the shower worked off the sink. Breakfast area has lots of seats... More

I stayed here one week. Every day during my stay chinese tourists came and destoried silent atomsfer. Many instructions like "be quiet" in chinese were dispayed on the wall but no work. Never stay again.

It takes around 6 minutes walk from the No.1 exit of Shinsakae-machi Station (if you will be from Nagoya station to Shinsakae-machi station with a big luaggage, you can take the elevator at exit 1, or to Nagoya station from Shinsakae-machi Station by the elevator at exit 2). It is not far away from Nagoya TV Tower, Oasis 21, central... More

As part if the chain of Toyoko, this one is no different. The check in is fast and efficient and the rooms are clean with the space well used. Bed is a nice size and comfortable. This particular branch seems to pride itself with the ever changing breakfast, each time I go there are several more new dishes and the... More

The hotel location is quite good, between the subway station Aakae and Xin sakae(closer to station xin sakae). Even go to the shopping center Sakae area is within the walking distance. There are many restaurants & convenient stores nearby. The room is clean, well equipped(with frige). Room size is ok (not so small). Price is quite reasonable. There are many... More

WE stayed at Toyoko Inn Nagoya Sakae while in Japan. The room was a bit small and not much room for suitcases. The complimentary breakfast was very Japan style food. Eating soup and rice for breakfast was a different experience for Canadians. They always had buns with jam. The stay overall was just o.k.

Room is small but space are used very effectively. The bed and toilet is spuriously clean. Put your luggage under the bed as recommended will give you some good walking space in room. The water boiler can be used as humidifier if you feel air too dry in Japan. Bathrobe available in a cabinet somewhere at lobby if it is... More

We tried to get out of our booking after seeing the lobby and people checking in. It felt like an old NYC YMCA hotel. The regular rooms were a surprise, clean and modern. Our son and his wife were stuck in a mini-double. Also clean and with modern fixtures but small, not as insanely small as we expected when in... More

Small rooms, but we had one with a window that opened!! No view, but it was very quiet. Everything you could need - a deep bath, a powerful shower. Clean, organised bathroom. A queen size bed, extra pillows upon request at reception. Shaving mirror, hair dryer, TV, LAN connection, coat hangers, fridge. Short walk to Nagoya underground stations. Helpful staff.... More

“Go early for breakfast or buy food from the Family mart up the road or the 7-11 down and across the street. There is also a Denny's at the intersection for those looking for western food. Also be sure to ask for a non-smoking floor and room. If possible, choose a room away from the elevators as the doors are this and the foot traffic might be a bit bothersome.”

“We slept at the side of the hotel room 1021. No traffic noises at all. The hotel is situated along a busy street, so maybe a room at the front side could be noisier.”
