Staff were pleasant and helpful (we had a Nagoya resident as part of our group who acted as translator which was very helpful). Rooms were quiet and well furnished, windows opened for fresh air, bed and pillows very comfortable. Other members of our group had breakfast here and said it was very good. Would stay again.

Stayed for 3 nights. Hotel was clean, nothing wrong with it. Just average hotel. Located in the crazy Nishiki district, but on a side street where its quiet and tame. Actually, the red-light businesses kind of peter-out a bit at this end of the district. Make sure not to make the mistake of checking in to the wrong Hotel Trusty....

When I arrived in Nagoya by bike, I was one day early for the booking my wife did. She would come two days later to meet me. So I asked if I could have a single room and change the room a day later. The price for the single room exceeded the price my wife paid for the single room...So...

I 've been billeted for a day in transit to Tokyo. This was a pleasant surprise with the staff so helpful as they found ways to communicate with me by sending someone who can speak English. As I was hooked to my room while attending to my wife who had some palpitations, they sent a staff upstairs to our room...

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights. 2 of the nights we were in a twin room with two twin beds, and the other room was a corner room double with a queen bed. The hotel was classy enough, and the location is great. My only complaint would be that the beds were quite hard.

Stayed here for 4 nights in a tiny but practically furnished single-room towards the inner courtyard. Only disadvantage: you can´t look thru the window because of the opposite room a few meters away and in order to protect your privacy. They are good for letting in enough daylight, but you won´t see the blue sky. Advantage: those rooms are incredibly...

This was my first time ever traveling outside of the United States, so I was both excited and nervous to be in Japan. I came on a travel-abroad program through my university, so this hotel was chosen by my professor. Hotel Trusty looks very fancy and high-end. The location is great; it is within walking distance of so many things!...

Nice rooms, nice food. The best thing about this hotel though are the incredibly helpful staff. They go out of their way to help you and speak excellent English. One of the reception ladies rang round a bunch of shops and other hotels to find somewhere I could get a Japanese SIM card for my phone when mine failed. Wish...

If you don't have to, don't stay there: small, extremely small and uncomfortable rooms, small bathroom, everything small even by Japanese standards. More drawbacks: no bar, small restaurant, poor selection of meals. The price is relatively high. I recommend that you find another place to stay in Nagoya.
