Detailed Reviews
The hotel is not very clean but good for that price we paid and breakfast was good. It could have been cleaner and a little well maintained to get more stars from me. I would stay again if I have to. Close to niagara falls. About 15-20 mins drive to the american falls

Nope it's not the Hilton, but if you are looking for clean, friendly and comfortable, here it is. We were really happy to find this hotel on our recent trip to the area. The staff was super friendly and helpful, showed us our room before we checked in. The room was clean, large and comfortable. (no sign of any bugs) The breakfast was fine and everything in the room worked fine. If you are looking for a great deal this is it!

We have stayed at this Rodeway Inn & Suites many times over the years. It is a pleasure to be called by name and have our key ready when we arrive. The rooms were recently updated with a fresh coat of paint, some new trim and with LCD TV. The mini kitchen is a must so we can store our drinks in the fridge. It is conveniently located next to the highway. It is just a five minute drive to the Shopping Mall. Many Brand name restaurants are within a ten minute drive. The breakfast is standard for this type of hotel -- no complaints from us there. The beds are comfortable with many new pillows.

+1
We booked a room for 4 people, but only 2 sets of towels are provided, there is no facial tissue in the facial tissue box, only an empty box, no one refill it, it was empty when we came, we stayed for 2 nights, but still no one refill it. They only provided soap and shampoo, but no conditioner. The shower still hot even you turned to the cold side, while the air-conditioner still cold even you turned to 72 degF. No one refill shampoo or facial tissue on next day. There is no freezer compartment in the fridge. No breakfast provided.

Rodeway Inn & Suites
1951 Niagara Falls Boulevard, Amherst, NY 14228, USA
This was the worst Hotel experience I and my wife had in our life.
We checked into Rodeway Inn & Suites at 10:30 PM. For our surprise the key provided to us did not open the door for Room No 125. I had to call back the reception and then a lady came back with a different key. With great difficulty when we got into the room we were not able to lock the door. I had to call back the reception and the Manager Nick/Mike Patel appeared with 2 screw drivers. I explained him the problem, and I was surprised to hear back from him saying checkout rightaway. If you have issues with the hotel leave the hotel right now. I and my wife were totally taken back by this reply. When i told him that this is not how you are supposed to speak to your guest, he said you do not need to teach me how to speak and that this is his hotel. He added saying keep quiet or he would throw us out off the hotel premise.
I was not sure how safe I and my wife would have been sleeping with unlocked door, but looks like speaking about it was a criminal offense to Mr. Manager.
I finally was froced to check out the hotel at 11.30 PM (Cancellation Number: 38822701). I had gone for a holiday to Niagara only to ruin my trip because of my worst choice of Hotel. I could not get any other accomodation nearby which forced me to drive back home (Canton, Ohio) to reach only at 4AM in the morning. This would probably be my last stay in any of the Choice Group Hotels. I would definietly refrain others from choosing Choice Hotels and ensure I post my comment in all Travel websites.
I am not sure how this group distribute Franchise to some dumb illiterates who do not even understand the 'H' of the Hospitality Industry. The manager was acting as if I have booked a room in his house. When i am booking a room i expect to do business with the Choice Group and not some dumb nut Mike Patel. For any new visitor to this hotel please keeep 911 handy while dealing with the hotel reception. You are definitely dealing with hulligans and can expect the unexpected.
To add the manager did not show the slightest pretext of apology. Instead he was happy to give me a cancellation request leaving me and my wife homeless and a ruined holiday trip. I am not sure how i would make up for this to my wife.
Regards
Sumit

Not bad enough to be terrible, but oh so far from average. I understand this is a budget motel and the price reflected that, but I have stayed in inexpensive budget motels that put this to shame. We stayed 2 nights because you have to cancel before 4 pm the day before, and we arrived after 4 pm so we were stuck. The beds were clean, the bathroom clean, but with a funky odor. The carpet was a disaster- worn, torn and soiled. If only the carpet had been new, I would have given it an average. They are adding on to the office, I thought for a bigger breakfast area, but was told it was for a store to sell cigaretts and sundries. Come on- invest in new carpets for crying out loud! Definitely WON'T be back.

We went on a shopping trip to Buffalo, & we were extremely satisfied with our stay at Rodeway Inn.
The rooms & bathroom were comfortable &, clean . The breakfast was very sumptuous, & the staff were very polite. Thank You.

Just stayed one night. The rooms were clean and the beds were outstanding. The sink and bath were small. Overall a very good value for the money. It is about 1/2 hour to the falls. The breakfast was quite good.

Bugs in my room, television that had to be turned on 4 times before it would work and sketchy people roaming around the area... Yep, that's my experience. This hotel is incredibly cheap for the area but it's an absolute dump. Run away from this hotel as fast as you can! This has to be one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.
