Spent the night at Garda Lodge this month as I was passing through Bulawayo. First, the good. The rooms were clean, and the free wi-fi was a first for our long road trip through Zim and was much appreciated. The full english breakfast was nice, and comparable to similar lodges. The animal statues around the yard were funny, but a...

We are really surprise way you don't advise us about the problem with the TV remote control....we are here to serve you at any time. During the 3 years operation of our lodge we got a big amount of disappearing of TV remote control, especially when there are family with little kids, who by mistake they just take the TV...

I spent 10 days at Garda Lodge in November and enjoyed it immensely. The staff were very friendly and most helpful. The acommodation was extremely comfortable and the breakfasts were great. Everything worked just fine during my stay. When there was a power outage a backup generator ensured that all functioned as normal. Will definately be staying at Garda on...

It was a late decision to drive from Harare to Victoria Falls and we decided to stop over in Bulawayo on the way. Garda Lodge was recommended and luckily for us a couple of rooms were vacant. It was a friendly place to stay. It is not a 5 star hotel but rather a quaint, family run establishment that would...

I stayed at the Garda Lodge for 4 nights in early October. It was a great stay - the rooms were cosy, clean, and well-looked-after. Carlo, Daniela and Enrico were the perfect hosts - helpful, friendly and accommodating, without be overbearing. The full English breakfasts were a great way to start the day, and it was lovely to come back...

After a long drive Sinamatela Hwange National park to Bulawayo this place Garda lodge was more like home, very quiet, pleasant and a friendly Italian family. There is no place to beat this. I travelled to Zim on an invitation by a former client at our lodge in Zambia. Thornicroft lodge. This place made me feel at home. I personally...

My parents recently spent one night at Garda lodge en route to drop off a vehicle at Vic Falls for me. They had nothing but praise for the clean, well kept accommodation and friendly helpful staff. I will recommend in a heart beat.
