We stayed in one of the twin chalets with a shared bathroom with very basic equipment, but it was all you really needed and you cannot expect more for the price. The staff is really friendly and helpful and a great variety of activities are offered, including a free shuttle to the falls every morning. Hot water in the showers...

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and good location in the town centre. We had a private ensuite room which was perfectly functional and very quiet as it was at the back of the property. The staff can arrange all sorts of trips and activities for you which is really handy! The menu in the bar is quite limited...

I am a very avid traveler but as a working student (paying my own fees) that can be an unnecessary expense. However whenever an opportunity to travel presents itself, i grab it with both hands bearing in mind that i have to go as low cost as i possibly can. Just this past weekend, one of my close friends and...

Our first night since travelling 7 hours from Lusaka, there were two power cuts which lasted the whole evening and then no water! This eventually was resolved the next morning thankfully! The shower in the big dorm was disgusting and the shower curtain the same! The only good thing is the hot water lasted longer than the place we stayed...

I had originally booked into another backpackers for my stay in Livingstone. Due to a lot of noise from the pub next door and unable to sleep I switched to Jollyboys. Only intending to stay for a few days I was there over a week in the end. The atmosphere is relaxed and there is a good friendly vibe from...

The Backpackers is well located in the town centre, has a nice bar, and has a good booking service for trips. The food is not so great but ok, rather cook yourself or order take away. The rooms are clean and convenient. All in all not cheap, but also not outrageously expensive

Everything you want as a backpacker- in house travel advice, restaurant, kitchen, free wifi, clean showers, pool tables, comfy sofas/social areas etc. Also free transfers to Vic Falls. I would say though that the prices are a bit on the high side for what it is- also the first room we stayed in didn't even have mosquito nets. Other than...

One has to keep in mind that this is a backpackers camp. This is not a 5 star hotel. So, for the category that it is in, it is quite nice. The best part above all are the employees that assist in setting up events. Kim was so efficient and really did not lead us astray at all in what...

After our 6 hour bus ride, i was knackered to the bone and yet i still had to take a trip down to Victoria falls. The lady checking us in was super nice and was kind enough to help keep my language. I bothered her a trifle bit for lose change. But she always had a smile. The showers where...
