It's difficult to write something bad especially when you can exactly explain what was wrong. Why was there a sofa chair in the bathroom? This is a tired guesthouse some distance from town and any attractions. Staff are friendly although overall place is in need of an update especially if they wish to charge rates comparable with more modern hotels...

We checked in an a Sunday, which may be where we went wrong. There were a couple of guys who 'helped' us, but seemed much more interested in getting more money out of us than anything else. We had booked an executive room on booking.com for a promotional rate of $80 per night. When we arrived we were shown the...

The Stone Guesthouse is close to the Falls and is an ideal departure point for all that the Victoria Falls and its environment have to offer. A quiet place, where staff are working hard to make you comfortable. Good value for money.

The Stone Guest House is an excellent B&B in Livingstone. We had a good stay. It is very nice for the price and the staff are friendly and willing to help you. The B&B is very close to downtown and their are taxis avaliable if you didn't drive. The only disappointment was the shower. It was a little difficult to...

My friend and I are budget travelers but we always expect more than what we can be offered. When we were planning our Christmas vacation to Victoria Falls in 2008 , we contacted many hotels which we searched from various websites. Some provided much higher prices with tour package no matter we like it or not, some did not even...

If you like ants in your luggage, toast for breakfast (2 slices max!!!) and sharing your glass of OJ then this is the place for you! No water either for drinking or showering made this the worst experience I've had. I would only recommend sending convicted murders here!

I will be honest. The Stone Guest House was not our first choice for our five-day visit to Livingstone. We booked a double room in the New Fairmount Hotel, only to be told a few days after our initial booking had been confirmed that there was no room for us on our first night. “Okay,” we said. “We will spend...

We stayed ten days with Yvonne and Alex in their Stone Guest House, and we enjoyed every day of it, especially since we had been living in Southern Africa for many years. Staff is not very experienced but always willing to learn, and invariably very helpful. Especially since my luggage was left behind in Europe and only arrived six days...
