The staff are charming and friendly, the food in the restaurant good and the chalet was comfortable (although we would have liked a softer chair on the patio, those hardwood chairs are...hard). The view of the Zambezi and the 'Smoke', from the deck is wonderful and the river safari and evening cruise not to be missed. We did a couple...

We actually booked a tent but with the heavy rains we decided to upgrade to a room. The tent looked like it would be OK if you were travelling with a group and you had a few tents rented out but on your own it might be not that pleasant. That said the room was pretty nice and comfortable. The...

Couldn't get a room as they were fully booked so opted for meal instead. Wide range of meals and pizzas available all at reasonable pricing. Does get somewhat busy at times but the atmosphere is good and vibrant. Service is also good and bar staff very friendly. Highly recommended for a meal and/or drink at the least.

We stayed in the tent accommodations which was nicely priced. Tent was well equipped with a fan, mosquito spray, 2 single beds, and electrical outlets. The location was perfect for getting to all the other attractions and the falls. Food was pretty good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I spent a week in one of the chalets at this hotel & loved every minute of it. It may not be 5 star, but the spectacular surroundings & wonderful staff made it an unforgettable experience. Yes, there may be flies & mosquitoes; they go with the territory. How many hotels have signs warning guests to beware of crocodiles? Or...

The pizza is delicious at the waterfront, in my opinion, it's the best in Livingstone. I also enjoyed the Zambezi bream, it was so fresh. They have a variety of cocktails and my favorite was a Mojito, very nice. Service was good and there was free WiFi.

Although this was a beautiful location, accommodation good and staff very friendly, there were a few disappointing things including the lack of sun on our balcony and around the pools! The trees and bushes were so dense that it shaded the sunlight! I came on holiday to get some rays and swim but when the sun did come out (which...

Dear drmellie, Many thanks for your review - welcome to the Rainy Season! It rains, it shines, it thunders, it shines! This place looks great in the pictures. To be fair the bar deck and the chalets from the outside do look nice. First problem is hygiene. The bar and restaurant area are filthy, there are flies everywhere because the surfaces aren't cleaned regularly or properly, there's bits of old food stuck in the tables. I see from previous reviews that...

We stayed two nights at the Zambezi Waterfront sleeping in one of their staged tents. First of all the view from the Restaurant is really amazing! -especially the sunsets and the hitel facility in general is really nice.
