Directly situated at the Zambezi river plenty shade, Lapa with light, braai facilities, donkies are heated for you daily, abulutions are clean and fancy under the stars... Another Lapa with washing up facilities plenty space for drying you stuff. Little pricy but worth it! I love it!

We stayed one night at the Kubu Cabins. Arrived rather late in the afternoon. Enjoyed dinner at Nkwazi Camp next door which was excellent. The rooms at Kubu Cabins are original and I loved the bathrooms. The beds however are uncomfortable - new mattresses needed. The view is amazing and at the campsite you even have Hippos passing at night....

We stayed in the "doll house" over the December 2014/January 2015 holidays. Nights were full of natural music from every creature around. Kevin went an extra mile to ensure all is good. Staff work day and night to take care of guests. You will thoroughly enjoy if you are friends with nature. Good distance from Livingstone centre for supplies if...

We were a group of friends who visited the campsite over December on our way to explore Zambia. After a challenging few hours spent at the border, the campsite was a wonderful surprise. Visiting in the wet season, the lapa area provided ample cover with the kitchen seperate having an under-cover wash up area. Prestine lawns on the Zambezi banks...

Peace and quiet on the banks of the Zambezi. We stayed campsite only and found the facilities to a high standard, and the staff helpful and friendly. Good place for birders- we enjoyed numerous sightings of Finfoot summing along the waters edge!

The campsite was great, in many ways. Good location on the banks of the Zambezi River under nice trees with green lawns. At 20km, it is quite far out of town. The ablutions were adequate and the staff were friendly. It was quiet lonely, being the only ones in the campsite. We were told there was a security guard on...

We, a Dutch family of in total 6 persons (including kids of 6 and 3 years old) booked (from Europe) the Villa of Kubu Cabins, Livingstone as for 5 nights starting from Thursday, 31 July 2014. We arrived with our rental car late in the afternoon, just before the sunset. We soon discovered that the Villa was very dirty, even...

We travelled from Namibia and crossed the border at Sesheke - the situation on the Zambian side has improved drastically, new buildings, organised procedures, friendly and efficient staff. There is an ATM, so no need to buy Kwacha from the vendors. The road from Sesheke to Kazangula (120 km) is a nightmare potholes and more potholes. Takes about 3 hours...

Travelling to zambia as a woman with my 18 year old daughter from Australia was quite scary. Taking the risk of staying out of town and not really knowing if we would be safe very risky! But so very very glad we did. Kubu cabins was amazing - could not recommend more highly if you love nature, peace and quiet....

We spent 7 nights at Kubu Cabins. All I can say is that it is the most peaceful place on earth. Loved every moment of it. We saw ellies drinking on the opposite bank everyday, and heard lions roaring and hyenas laughing at night. I was in my element. Only downside was that on new years eve, a group from...
