The entire time I was here it felt like I was in a dream. From riding in on the long dirt road and having to wait for elephants to cross right in front of the car to being visited by Kevin the teenage elephant while eating dinner on the patio...the whole stay was amazing. The thatched roof cottage was the...

We were amazed by this incredible locally owned lodge. We stayed in the thatched roof tree house type suite and had an incredible experience. The staff is outstanding and our meals were not only delicious, but also made as we requested. Our day trips were arranged right at the lodge and went way beyond our expectations. We had a perfect...

As others have noted, Bushbuck is well situated on the Zambezi and next to a national park. Linda was a really great host, and went out of her way to make us comfortable. She also was a tremendous help giving us tips for the rest of our trip. We opted to eat dinner while we were here, and really enjoyed...

A very welcoming lodge that combines warm hospitality with very good service at an excellent price. We stayed in the upstairs suite of the cottage which was really cozy and nicely furnished. The atmosphere is relaxed and so much fun to watch the elephants roam in the garden. Activities can be booked right there and transport is organized. We loved...

The views are spectacular! The Zambezi river flows across the bottom of the garden and in the winter, elephants cross it. Hippos are a common siting as well as very cheeky monkeys and vultures. I love this place and would come back time and time again. Alan, Oriel and Linda are very kind and gracious hosts who are happy accommodate...

We were lucky enough to be recommended this lodge to stay for our recent visit to the falls. Oriel, Alan, Linda and their staff were all very friendly and made us feel relaxed and welcome. They helped us arrange local activities and transport. We had a lovely room, and delicious food. The setting is perfect, on the river, complete with...

We arrived slightly out of season, so had the place to ourselves. Linda picked us up from the airport and was an excellent host and guide for our 3 night stay. She advised on our visit to Vic Falls, and arranged a Zambezi Evening Cruise and a Walking Safari, then ran us to the necessary starting points for each of...

My wife and I spent 4 memorable nights at Bushbuck at the end of January and had the luxury of being the only guests for the first 3 nights. Linda made all the activity arrangement for us including Angel Pool on Livingstone Island at the Falls and a Microlight in the afternoon - both a MUST if conditions allow. We...

Four of us stayed in their beautiful cottage for three nights after completing a medical mission in Monze, Zambia. The place is great! The location is on the river, the cottage is very modern and the food is excellent. Linda is a great manager of the lodge. We were able to do a day safari at Chobe Park in Botswana,...

We stayed at BBRHouse on our first night in Livingstone in late October 2015. We were met at the airport by Linda, the manager. Located about 15 minutes up river from town in a peaceful setting adjacent to the Mosi-oa-Tunya NP, critters large (ellies) and small (impala/monkeys) wander through the property. Birdlife is spectacular. We spent one night as full...
