Booked for an overnight stay en route from a fishing trip with 8 guys. Camp is a little out of town and very peaceful and quiet. Great view of the river and falls on the road in, especially around sunset. Tents are comfortable, showers are a little tricky. Great fire pit to sit around and swap fishing tales. Food was... More

If you're visiting Livingstone Zambia to see Victoria Falls and surroundings, this is a good spot to use as a central base. Our group of 7 Canadians tried both the tents and the Great Lodge and we enjoyed this as center for our adventures in our first trip to Zambia (eg walk with rhinos, helicopter tour of falls and ravine,... Visited Prana last year with my 3 kids- all under 10. We stayed in the big upstairs house and had it all to ourselves. What's interesting is that I'd been to Livingstone many times before but never with my kids. So as a fist for them it was great we chose Prana. The chef cooked amazing and delicious food that... My family and I did a 28 day trip to Africa, with Livingstone as the second stop on the trip. We wanted to see the falls, but also wanted to stay somewhere nice and reasonable. This was a great choice! We stayed in the camp, as there were only three of us, and for the two nights that we were... More

We visited Prana as a couple in December 2012. We were welcomed by owner Andy and his staff so warmly. We chose the tented camp option with full board. Meals are prepared with such heartiness and love by the team. When we visited there was a chef called Peter. Hope he is still there. Unable to speak the local language,... More

Stayed here for 4 nights and loved it! Tents very comfortable and clean. Food was delicious...Wisdom did a great job. Claire and Sean were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. They will book any activities you fancy. Works like clockwork. Mornings and evenings were a tad chilly but there was always a fire to sit around. Conveniently located and great value.... More

When looking for a place to stay in Livingstone, we found no shortage of amazing (but amazingly overpriced) luxury hotels. On the other end, we found simple camping grounds with not much on offer. Prana Tented Camp was the perfect happy medium -- giving the experience of being in nature and away from the hustle & bustle of the major... More

Fantastic place away from the noise of Livingstone, and in the peace of the bush, yet only short ride from the action in town. This self catering accommodation plus pool is fab for the family or groups of friends. The place is made by the wonderful hosts Claire & Sean. So warm and hospitable and will organize anything for you!

You couldn't ask for a better spot on the planet. Not only are the "tents" delightful and welcoming, but Prana is close to everything you could want to do in Livingstone. But more than that, Claire, Sean, their kids and staff, all make you feel like you are visiting old friends. Old friends who take care of organizing anything and... More
