Since we arrive to the hotel we loved.
The entrance of the hotel is gorgeous covered by water. When you coming to the reception you will see the swimming pool which is stunning.
We arrived at 12, the check in was at 14.00 but they prepared the room in 15 mins.
Once we arrived they told us that we have included bikes to rent in the price of the room and also a massage session on the spa.
The room was great, plenty space. A sofa on the feet of the massive bed. The bed have lights under if you are reading or walking during the night it is very helpful to not disturb the other person.
Rooms with balcony are amazing to relax after your beach day.
10 min walking from the old town and 15 min cycling to the beach throw the rice fields.
Hoi An have been the best place we found in Vietnam and this hotel is the crown jewel.
Breakfast is fantastic, lot of staff, great options.
The Spa is amazing, very attentive staff 10/10

With a pleasant surprise we noted that we received everything the hotel has promised in its offer. High standard of service, very good location (waking distance to the old town), daily massage included in the room price, charming pool (with less charming cold water :-)), excellent, varied breakfast, transfer to the airport in Da Nang cheaper than the price of a taxi (but more expensive than private carriers), quick and efficient settlement of the trips we expect, a free shuttle bus to a private beach and above all the flexibility of adapting to our travel plan: providing a room early in the morning after our landing in Vietnam (6 am) and the possibility of a longer use of the room due to late return flight to China. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to stay a night or two in Hoi An.

We spent 6 nights at the hotel in a loft room, which was very spacious and looked onto the swimming pool yet still felt private. The rooms are simply furnished but very clean and spacious. The hotel provided gowns, towels, some basic toiletries, swimming towels, bicycles and umbrellas. The bicycles are quite old and could be replaced. The outdoor facilities are beautiful with a few different swimming pools, including a gorgeous heated pool in a basement quiet sanctuary. The spa is also lovely and the massages were great. The breakfast buffet had a large selection of fresh, delicious food with the option to have made-to-order coffee that was strong and hot! Our meals and drinks at The Refinery were also wonderful and excellent quality. All staff members were helpful and friendly. Binh at the front office greeted us every day with huge smiles and helped us with all our requests. Phuoc in the F&B department was really efficient in arranging our package inclusions and overseeing our dinner service. We had a delightful cooking lesson with Hep, who taught us how to make some of our favourite dishes. Binh from Four Plates gave great service every morning at breakfast and the security staff were always quick and helpful with arranging bicycles for us. The location of the hotel was really convenient; the old quarter is only a 10min walk and An Bang beach was an easy 20min cycle. There are plenty of restaurants of all price ranges. The free airport shuttle service was also very helpful and the staff arranged late check out for us. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would love to come back!

We visited in March just as the Coronavirus situation was worsening to the extent the hotel was closing due to lack of custom two days after our departure.
There were therefore very few other guests there during our stay which spoilt it somewhat due to lack of atmosphere and cut backs. The buffet breakfast wasn’t that good and that was soon changed to a limited a la carte. That was ok but a bit of a laugh as for example just couldn’t get poached egg on toast right, or indeed toast!
There was no entertainment during our stay. The ‘ free’ massages stopped after a few days as the Govt had closed all Spas, but we got a $15 credit per day for that. Two days before departure the foam mattresses on the sun beds were taken away.
Cocktails during the happy hour were however v good. The room (a two storey one) was ok albeit a bit musty.
The staff were friendly and helpful , especially considering they knew most would soon be out of a job with no pay.
We hired the cycles to go to the beach which was easy to find. There are lots of Coy Carp in ponds to the front which are fed at 17.00 which is worth watching. The main area of Hoi An is within easy walking distance .
If the hotel had been at anywhere near full occupancy it would have been busy around the pool/ in the bar as they are fairly small .
All in all the coronavirus situation did have a negative affect on our visit which was outside of the hotel’s control . Would have given it 3 1/2 stars if possible.

We really enjoyed our stay with Almanity hotel and they provided a comprehensive 5 star service across the board.
Hotel is clean and well looked after with any servicing needs met promptly. Our room boasted a balcony jacuzzi to relax in a private setting along with views of the picturesque pool which felt secluded and offered a luxurious feel to the resort with permanent life guard, as many towell as you like & a service bell at every sun lounger.
Staff are very friendly and attentive with special mentions for Binh & Vu who added an extra special touch to our holiday. Binh deals with guest relations and offers a smoothly planned and well informed service with a smile who'll also see to any queries you may have. Vu was our driver & guide when off site. He was very professional, polite and knowledgeable about activities in and around Hoi An with clear guidance for any questions we had.
Our only issue with our stay was that the building works next door started at 08:00 & finished at 17:00, but we appreciate that this is out of the hotel's control and we mitigated this by going to bed a little earlier and getting up earlier which is generally the done thing here because of the humidity and heat for activities out of the hotel. (They did offer a room change).
All the rooms/areas we encountered offered AC and most had fans too to keep cool and the pool, although not heated, didn't need to be in this climate. The pool again offered a relaxed setting with plenty of beds available and the sounds of water falls all round. You will not need to bring your own towel here or umbrella or even flip flops as they are all provided.
The spa has great services and one can easily feel refreshed after a 60 minute massage for only 12£ or so.
The beds are quite simply amazing and you won't struggle to fall asleep.
Food is good and at a fair price point. Kitchen looks very clean and staff are well presented. Drinks are fairly priced but happy hour at 4pm daily makes for the perfect time to try a new cocktail.
Location is spot on for us as it was 10-12 minute walk to the old town (alley opposite even quicker) with the beach a 25 minute cycle ride away at a leisurely pace or 10 mins away with a free shuttle bus provided multiple times per day. Private taxi will only be around £3.50ew.
In summary, I would definitely stay here again and thank you to Binh, Vu & the team for having us. It has been a genuine pleasure.

This hotel is perfect, the room I had overlooked the pool on the ground floor opposite the restaurant. my room was spotless lovely white fluffy towels and the bed linen beautiful and clean. overnight there was a book mark left on my pillow at turndown. which I thought was a nice touch. included in my room rate was a daily massage and the girls offered the use of sauna and steam room free to use after massage. I would recommend this hotel . only short walk to the old town. there is free bicycle hire at hotel which I took up on the 2nd day which was most enjoyable.

A bit mixed feeling about this hotel. There were couple hiccups before my arrival and the response rate was low with not well trained customer service attitude.
Upon arrival the room looks not as well as the photos. The yoga lesson was horrible; I skipped all for the rest of my stay. Later I realized the instructor is also the receptionist! PLEASE have proper trained yoga instructor if you are going to advertise yoga lessons!
The property is at a good condition but can do a bit more upgrading. All room should equip mosquito repellent device. I had to ask the front desk for one after i killed 3 in one night.
Good thing about this hotel; the location is quite convenient; take a shortcut it’s about 10 mins to the old town and 5 mins to the best banh mi in town; banh mi queen!
The spa is rather good; had 5 sessions and 3 of my masseuses are good.
the hotel organized my half day trip to My Son and cooking class. Both are excellent! which helped me viewing the hotel more positively. The front desk lady Lien is quite good, very friendly and helpful.

Peaceful and relaxing resort In a convenient position where you can reach easily the characteristic and fabolous old town of Hoi An. The retreat is well managed, staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great with a good variety of salty and sweet items. Massages are the plus that enhance your vacation in an amazing location like Hoi An, full of little streets, artcrafts shops, coffee places and restaurants.

We stayed at the Almanity Resort for 7 nights ( Scoopon Deal - $1009 for 2 people). Deal included breakfast daily, 2 dinners ea and two massages each plus a cocktail each night of our stay.
The Resort is very, very nice probably only a couple of years old. We had a room on the ground floor beside the 5 star swimming pool. Room was very comfortable, and a good size.
The staff have to be congratulated, they were the most helpful and friendly people you could get.
The only negative was the breakfasts. They had plenty of variety but nothing was really hot ( that includes lukewarm tea an coffee) , food had been constantly reheated by microwave and ended up tough and tasteless. Dinner in the restaurant at night was not a problem. They will have to try to correct their breakfasts.
Would I go back, definitely the good more than made up for the bad.

From the beginning I totally liked the design of Almanity hotel with large swimming pool, beautiful garden and well decorated rooms, especially the room type "My Spirit". I was very impressed with the bedroom upstairs and living area downstairs. That's why I booked here. This room actually met my expectation. It's an amazing unique place. I can truthful say that I really recommend this hotel to all my friends.
The only thing this hotel should improve is the service of reception. I booked room via an online travel website and didn't know why the hotel's system could not show our booking. This mistake could be come from the online agency or hotel's site but of course guest couldn't know it. Although we've arrived around 14:45 we'd to wait 45 min. for check in. The reason is that the house keeping was still making room. I wondered why they took so long time to do it while it's a very low season. My booking was "My Spirit" room type but the receptionist let me change to another room which is called "My mind" without asking me before changing. When we asked her about this alteration she just explained that the "My Spirit" room type was so hot so she gave us an upgrade. I think before she decided something she should pay attention to the feeling of customer so that guest will not be confused at all.
