We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay in this beautiful town immensely - the highlight of our trip and a MUST SEE. There are many hotels and we were visiting during the low season, but this place was perfect. The rooms were comfortable and huge. A little dated and looking a bit tired but perfectly adequate given...

We stayed in seven hotels during our trip to Vietnam, and the Hai Au was the ugliest. No attempt has been made to make it look pleasing to the eye, from the heavy, uncomfortable Chinese furniture in the lobby, to the messy reception area, and even the badly-decorated rooms. Everything looked a little tired and in need to refurbishment. That...

This hotel has the friendliest staff by far. All the girls working at reception are cheery and know all guests' names by heart..they learnt ours within 5 min. Also only hotel which gave us breakfast to go when we left at 4 am to catch our early flight. The hotel room was dated but comfortable. The only issue was the...

We stayed here for a couple of days of slightly more luxury than the hostels we have been staying in on a 3 month RTW trip. We very much enjoyed the personal service, with the staff very keen to get to know you and help wherever they can. The decor and facilities are very good for a hotel in this...

Thank you very much for a wonderfull stay! We enjoyed very much every day of our visit to Hoi An thanks to you! Hotel personnel gave very good recommendations on restorants (Mermaid, Cargo), bycicle tour operator and Aloe Vera Spa. Also transfer service was timely and pleasantly organized. Room were clean, spacious and well decorated. Breakfast had large choice of...

After reading such good reviews on Tripadvisor, we booked in to this hotel for two nights. Upon arrival the staff at front desk wanted to hold our passports until checkout. We witnessed that other guest handed theirs over, however we have travelled throughout Asia and photocopies have always sufficed at every other hotel we have stayed in. We insisted that...

For hotels in Hoi An this one is at the cheaper end of the spectrum and you get what you pay for. Bed linen was clean but towels were threadbare. They advertise a tea kettle. This actually consisted of a plastic thermos-like container containing dirty tepid water that we were afraid to drink. There were ants in the room. We...

We booked this hotel on booking.com for around £27 per night. Based on our experience of travelling in Asia over the last six months, this was too high a price for the quality of room. I would expect to pay £15 for this room, which looked out onto a wall and was plainly decorated. The hotel lobby was tatty and...

The reviews before mine are accurate so I don't have much else to add. I will note though that the bed was excellent, the pillows were flat, the pool was nice but only gets sun for a short time each day, the walls were thin, the wifi was strong and fast, the reception staff was friendly and I could do...

We stayed here for four nights and the hotel really made our stay. The staff were just so attentive and there to look after you and help you in your stay. They had excellent recommendations for everything we wanted to do, including helping us hire a scooter to get out to the beaches and our excursions into the old town...
