This is a beautiful place to stay and we looked at a lot of other hotel rooms in Hoi An before booking this one. We originally booked for 4 nights and loved it so much we extended to 10 nights as we wanted to spend time relaxing as we had been travelling for some time at this point. Yes -...

BEWARE of this establishment!!!! I had been planning our honeymoon to Vietnam and chose to stay at Thien Thanh for 9 nights, mainly due to the many wonderful reviews on Tripadvisor. I booked directly through the hotel website, also letting them know we were on our honeymoon. While in Hanoi we decided to spend another night in Hoi An, i...

Across our two week stay in Vietnam this was probably our favorite hotel. romantic, quiet, and beautifully adorned. And the owner and staff went far out of their way to help us. When we arrived, an Expedia booking mixup left us without a reservation for the first night. The owner put us up in a neighboring hotel on her dime....

My husband and I were really looking forward to staying at Thien Thanh hotel. We booked a month in advance, secured by credit card, and confirmed the week beforehand. Upon arrival, we were politely informed that the room was no longer available, and were given some bogus story about a broken air conditioning unit that had leaked onto our mattress....

Hoi An is a busy, busy place. But nestled among the hubbub, we found a peaceful resting spot at the Thien Thanh. The comfortable room, tasty breakfast, and refreshing pool, and wifi access were great value for our dollars. A bonus beyond that included the wetland oasis that backs up to the hotel - gorgeous birds, lizards, fish, a small...

This is a nice, small hotel in a lovely setting. Good breakfast, friendly staff. The ONLY issue I had is that there is no elevator - so I had to turn down the 4th floor room they offered, overlooking the spinach fields. I ended up with a 3rd floor room facing the front, which could be noisy at times but...

I visited Hoi anh with My Mum for 5 days and we stayed here the whole time. It's a small and pretty hotel with a guesthouse feel to it. The rooms are clean and an ideal size. Showers were great. Dao on reception is fantastic - very helpful and honest. Actually all the staff are very sweet and helpful which...

A stay of two halves: the first being terrible; the second being ok, hence the neutral rating. On the basis of reviews on TripAdvisor, we decided to stay here and tried to book directly with the hotel. Despite contacting them several times, we had no response, so we booked through Expedia. When we arrived the receptionist greeted us with a...

My family and I spent two weeks in Vietnam over the Christmas period and it was by far the best holiday we have ever had. We particularly loved Hoi An and the Thien Thanh hotel made our stay very special. On arrrival we were given our rooms and my husband and I had a lovely and light room overlooking the...
