It would be churlish to say anything but positive about the hotel itself. It's full of character, staff are wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. The location is also great, in the heart of the old town, BUT that brings with it the problems of noise. If you do stay here don't stay in 208 or 206 - so noisy.

Built within a two century old former Merchant's residence, the Vinh Hung Heritage Hotel very much reflects the history of Hoi An whilst providing modern conveniences. Centrally located, the hotel is the perfect location to explore the ancient town on foot. With many inclusions such as a buffet breakfast, an option to enjoy the staff's company over dinner each evening,...

In the center of old town and wow what a beautiful hotel! We booked late and ended up in the back room and loved it, so much quieter than the front!! Close to everything, in the middle of it all. Great and amazing staff and great breakfast. Definitely suggest eating dinner with the staff!! Loved it!!! So unique and would...

This two century old, six room boutique hotel is unsurpassed in both its warmth of service and historical charm. Originally, the home of a Chinese trading merchant, it was purchased in 1992, and lovingly restored Mr. Hung and his wife Mrs. Mi. It is wonderfully located in the heart Hoi An's ancient historical center. The balcony is a magical place...

Staff really helpful in finding amazing tours with excellent local knowledge. Food well presented and tasted lovely. Complementary list included a massage, boat ride and pool at sister hotel. Location fantastic and everything in walking distance will definitely be back.

The reception and service we got at this Beautiful Hotel was outstanding. The Ancient Building is in the Heart of the Old City and if you can accept that it does mean there will be a little noise, this is the perfect place to Experience Hoi an. By nature, rooms are a little Dark, but that was not a problem...

The staff here was very friendly and helpfull, they offered me a free dinner with them, went to boat to...

A great hotel with character in a great town for tourists. Only 6 bedrooms so it's definitely boutique and the rooms are individual, full of character, with a touch of class (e.g. wooden bathtub in a stylish bathroom). Convenient location to other sister hotels with swimming pool & all the resort stuff if you want that. Other reviewers mention the...

For those who enjoy staying at a hotel whose design reflects a sense of place, this is the hotel for you. This charming boutique hotel is right in the center of the old town, the perfect location. Our room was paneled in dark wood and a Chinese sliding screen with stained glass opened to the outside. The bathroom was floor...

The best thing is the location, around 50m from the Old Bridge right at Hoi An ancient town center, is pretty much the best location you can get in Hoi An. But be prepared, the building is old, so it as all the old building issues: squeaky floor, not sound proof at all and you can be visited by bugs...
