Similar to the previous review, wie arrived during the reunification celebrations and our online booking was bluntly refused saying we should go somewhere else. Impossible at 11pm so we ended up sleeping in the house of a taxi driver.

We arrived yesterday after booking this place online and they didn't honour our booking. The guy there didn't seem to care and blamed his "manager" before informing us that everywhere in town was fully booked because of the reunification celebrations. He didn't even offer us a taxi or a drink - just pointed us in the direction of the town...

We stayed in Tuyen Vit Home stay for two nights in Nov 2014 and loved it. Incredible value for money and the room was comfortable, clean and air conditioned. We hired a scooter directly from the family to get around which was handy. The whole family were so friendly and helpful and we shared a delicious meal with them all...

We've stayed in a number of hostels/hotels in Thailand and Vietnam and this was by far the best hostel/homestay. 5 of us stayed here in 2 rooms. The rooms were new and clean and the main reception and common area was beautiful (traditional decor). The family were very friendly and very helpful. Also good wifi which is useful! Would highly...

I stayed at this home stay for two nights and loved every minute! The family made me feel very comfortable and welcome and I even shared a meal with them one night (one of the best I had in Vietnam). The room was very spacious and clean and I felt very safe. I am a female traveling solo and I...

This a medium-sized house but it is very cute with small garden at the front yard, which is an ideal place to enjoy coffee in the early morning and late afternoon or have meals. the landlord's family was really hospitabble (although they are not...

We stayed in Mr Minh's house in Cam Chau Homestay for three months, and enjoyed every day of it. The location is great, with a five minutes bicycle ride into the old town, and with a lovely (and quite) neighbourhood giving you the real Vietnamese feeling. The family is super nice (although not speaking English) and did so much for...

Stayed in Mr. Minh's house at Cam Chau Homestay for 11 weeks during studies in Hoi An, spring 2014. Beautiful house with some really nice landlords, who cleaned floor and dishes for us, and made sure that there always were coke and beer in the house. laundry service and bikes for rent were also available. Would highly recomend this house...

The family we stayed with was really nice. We had dinner with the family and it was really good and a very nice way to speak with the family and to learn some vietnamese words. We wanted to have breakfast when the woman were allready off to work, so the son cooked us breakfast. Overall a great experience.

To be clear with the homestay, you are actually assigned to someone else's family house and given a room/building to stay in. We didn't realise this at first. Luckily all was fine, and we stayed with the Bup family in a separate building. Room nice, lovely bathroom - an actual shower area and not a damn wet room! All be...
