Excellent Hotel. The personel is extremely friendly and welcoming and help you with everything there is (Scooter rental, dive Trip, Cooking class, tailor Shop, etc) . Very clean in every area. 10/10 would come here again ! Thanks a lot!!!!
We absolutely loved our stay in Zest Villas. My deluxe room was spacious and very attractive and it was great to have a bath that fitted large westerners as well as smaller people! My friend was blown away by the attractiveness and size of her Executive Suite, which also had a beautiful view of the lagoon. This is really a very charming, tranquil resort designed in the vintage Indochina style which I find particularly attractive. Food and drink was very affordable. The starting price was good but for the whole of June there was a further 30% off. Yes, there were a few issues with housekeeping, such as not replacing clean towels daily or refurbishing toilet rolls etc, but a quick call to reception soon put that right and such was the excellence of every other feature that the resort still deserves a 5 star rating. The breakfasts were ample and offered a good choice, and the older chef went to great lengths to ensure that the fried eggs, sunny side up, were not slimy on top once cooked, and were still runny. This was a feat in itself as the frying pans were so tiny there was no space to put a spatula in to flick oil over the yoks to seal them. But he still managed to time the eggs just right - not normally achieved by 90% of other hotels or restaurants. The restaurant too offered a great selection of food although we only had the ham and cheese club sandwiches with french fries. But they were so delicious that we had them several times. The first time the toast was white which is a very Asian thing, but after that they appeared as a normal golden brown colour so I don't know if western guests had complained, but suddenly the toast was very brown and perfect, Super tasty too. Final mention must be made of the fantastic, caring staff. Best staff found anywhere, whether it was the taxi driver, housekeeping, chefs, bar staff, manager or reception staff. Nothing was too much rouble and there was genuine warmth from everyone. Very special mention though must be made of receptionist Thuy, closely followed by receptionist Phuong. They were like two rays of sunshine, always making you feel very special and doing more that their 100%. In fact we enjoyed our stay there so much that although we left the resort yesterday, we have already booked to return there in September!…
Very accomodating, kind staff, great breakfasts. Perfect sized resort - not too big that you felt like you were staying in a mini universe, but not too small that you were in the other guests’ business. Perfect level of intimacy. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Exceptionally well priced and great breakfasts. Note it is about 90,000 Dong to catch a taxi into Old Town each way.
This hotel was great, we stayed in a duplex which had enough space for a family of four and a lovely balcony looking onto the lake for when we needed some quiet time. Due to covid shutting everything down for two years this hotel had only just opened again, like much of Hoi an, so there weren't many tourists which meant the spa and restaurant weren't open yet (hence why only four stars) but what we did experience was warm, welcoming attentive staff who couldn't do enough for us. They have mopeds for hire and free bike rental, which we utilized for a few days out, further afield, and cycling into hoi an. They also had a shuttle service into hoi an too, for. A lovely place to stay if you want some peace and quiet and a little further out of hoi an (20min bike ride).
It was a fabulous villa, amazing staff, beautiful rooms, and good food. The wifi was really slow the first nights, but was immediately fixed after we asked front office and they responded with pure bliss and kindness!
I don’t even know where to start ! This wonderful gem of a hotel ticks all boxes, twice ! Apart from what was said before which I can only agree on, the people that work there are absolutely lovely and always available to help and to ensure you have a great time. I’m a hotelier myself, have worked in the best places around the world and always believe that people that run a place make a huge difference. The warmth and the genuine touch of each one was truly appreciated. Our room was lovely. The mattress just perfect (a d we are very picky when it comes to that). We loved the outdoor bathtub. The food is outstanding and the chef always accommodated special requests for vegetarian dishes which we loved. The a la carte breakfast (due to low occupancy) was superb and made fresh to order. We did not use the shuttle service as our timing with 2 kids were slightly off schedule, but were able to book a cab to town for 130k. Equals around 6 usd. One afternoon I took a free bicycle to the ancient town which took me 15 minutes. Gorgeous ride through lox’s villages and rice fields. Loved it. My kids loved cooling off in the pool. Please note: pool is in the sun for the majority of the day. But you’ll find comfortable sun loungers around. Can’t recommend this place highly enough and will surely be back !! Thanks to the entire team at Zest Villas for an unforgettable stay. Eva, Lily, Kai & Tobi …
We stayed at Zest for 5 nights. It’s set in wonderful gardens, so green and very peaceful. The rooms are gorgeous and services all tip top. It’s a large plot with not many rooms so you really have that sense of space. Reception staff, especially Hoa went out of their way to be helpful. Food and drinks were all super and the pool was awesome. We tried out the spa which was an added bonus - you did not have to go far, just a few steps from the pool. It offers a good selection of treatments. The family also enjoyed the pool table! Shuttle buses take you to the old town and beach so despite being in the green it is easy to get around. Zest had fab reviews, but it’s always a bonus when you arrive and can concur. A perfect spot!
I usually do not write reviews but in these exceptional circumstances I would like to express our gratitude to Zest Villa and Spa Hoi An which is probably one of the best hotel we have had the chance to stay at. The location is perfect! You will find yourself in a very natural environment and yet still very close to the old town and trust me you will be thankful to be able to enjoy some quiet time after visiting the old town. All members of the hotel personnel from the luggage carrier, room cleaning, garden staff, bartenders, to the reception were incredibly and genuinely caring and professional. They made sure our time there would be unique and relaxing and it was. We really want to thank everyone there for this incredible experience and hopefully we will be back soon.
We stayed at this property for 11 nights and couldn't have been more happy with our choice. We were traveling with a 2-year-old and the staff couldn't possibly have been more kind and accommodating. The property itself is absolutely stunning, and painstakingly cared for. My husband and I both remarked how we felt like this property for us struck the perfect balance – where it felt beautiful and special, while not being stuffy. We felt very comfortable and at home with our little one. We really appreciated how welcoming each member of the staff was each day and how attentive they were to the unique needs we had while traveling with a toddler. The property is also situated at the perfect location, just on the outskirts of Hoi An. We loved how everything was so easily accessible, yet still incredibly peaceful, and how the property offered convenient transportation into town and to the beach at designated times. Things we also loved: the spa, pool, the restaurant and menu, breakfast, the list goes on. I cannot say enough good things about this property and the people that work there. We are so grateful for everything they did to make our stay so delightful. We hope very much to come back someday.…
We stayed at Zest Villas for 6 days i march 2020, and what a place. Lovely service from all of the staff but especially Thuy and Tai. We stayed in a room on the water and it was simply magnificent. Our kids loved the pool and we felt safe and well taken care of all the time. The food was also great, especially the native vietnamese cousins. Furthermore, the facilities at the hotel and especially the spa were so nice and we used them several times. If we do come back to central Vietnam and Hoi An in the future, and I definetely think we will, we will for sure come back for a stay at Zest Villas and Spa.
