This is a lovely small hotel in Colonia. Good location. We were able to easily walk everywhere in the old city. Some of the staff are not proficient English speakers, but they try their best. If you can't climb steps, ask for a ground floor room.

We arrived from Argentina and the hotel is only a 15-20 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The hotel is in a quiet location on a side street. It’s just a short walk into the main heritage part of the old city. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. In the evening we...

A nice posada that is on the edge of the historic district and is an easy walk. While we did not use it, the pool looked nice and appeared to get good sun. Our room was nice with a king bed and plenty of room. The bath was nice but the tub could only be filled with the shower for...

We had a lovely couple of days in this great posado on the edge of the historic old town. Lots of cobbled streets and good restaurants and wine bars nearby (particularly one called Buen Suspiro). The rooms are cool and clean and the pool is great.

Good hotel close to the old centre. Bed was comfortable and room size was fine. The bathroom and tired and a little cramped but fine considering the price we paid and the hotel was full. Breakfast had plenty of offerings. The pool was too cold for me to swim in but got early day sun. Staff were helpful and friendly

This Posada have a good feeling outside of the rooms.,traditional patios ,a cozy pool and well located with a few blocks of the historic center but rooms are in need to be take care of... This can be a nice boutique hotel if the managment spend money updating the rooms..for me not a room to pay 120 dollars a night......

We stayed for one night and enjoyed our stay. This is a charming posada on a quiet street. Room was clean, quiet and in good repair. The complementary breakfast was good and the staff friendly and accommodating. It's not a 'chain' hotel, but that's not what we look for. No problem recommending a stay here.

Location good, near to the historic area of colonia. But, no elevator and my room on the third level. I had a junior suite that was roomy but friends had a regular room and it was small and dark. The tv had no English channels. Breakfast was meager and the only meal served

This is a lovely posada within a 5 minute walk of barrio historico. Nice quiet area with a nice pool area with sun loungers and space to relax in the gardens. Rooms are also nicely finished and toiletries provided, cable tv etc. Comfortable bed. Breakfast average continental style with cheese, ham, bread etc. Would stay again.

Don Antonio Posada is a lovely posada set on a quiet street in a very interesting Colonia, Uruguay. We are currently still here and couldn't be happier or more comfortable. Our superior room has great Air conditioning, a very comfy queen size bed, nice bathroom with shower, and a lovely refreshing pool. Breakfast is included in our rate. Ambience of...
