The Chedi Sharjah is a must visit.

As residents of Dubai, we must confess we have not visited Sharjah previously however we will most certainly back to the Chedi! From the moment we arrived the service was very polished, the luggage was whisked straight to our room, we were swiftly checked in and made to feel very at home.

The attention to detail at the resort was superb. Your every need is provided for and more! We were amazed to find such a rich assortment of edible treats in our room which were topped up regularly. We also loved the touch of being able to press the "sweet treat" button on the phone daily to have a lovely treat brought to your room along with healthy juices (balance).

The food in the restaurant was impeccable, well presented and fantastic. We enjoyed both an arabic and moroccan meal and couldn't fault either. Breakfast was also up there with the best we have had - Wagyu steak and eggs, eggs & asparagus and truffle oil.

All the staff were fantastic, I wish I could have got all their names to give them a mention but Hamza looked after us so well at breakfast, Barry at breakfast and another lovely lady who shared a joke with us about the "breakfast teak".

This place is truly fantastic value for money - a must visit.

The hotel design is really out of the box. It is mimicking old traditional houses of families who lived in that area 100 years ago. The location is suitable near the heart of Sharjah. The hotel facilities, service, quality of food, cleanliness, staff professionalism is exceeding by far any other hotel. I can only compare it to be at bar with Fourseasons, and even better.
I recommend to try out their Spa.
We have stayed in this hotel for the first time, the hotel in-advance provided accessories for our infant like Large Bottles Sterilizer, Bottle Warmer, and even Nappy Bin. The Crib was neat, as comfy as a bed could get. We totally loved the gesture!! It is definitely a return for us! Thank you.

Al Bait suites are indeed as it is century aged ago that was maintained by the government and converted into luxurious hotel suites wherein walls, pathways and vegetations are the way it used to be by the original family that resides here. With our desire to explore the excellent museums of Sharjah and the online reviews of Al Bait and its location in the heart of Sharjah, our decision was easy. From the minute you arrive, you are pampered. Albert and his staff are all professionals and their desire is to make certain that every guest has a wonderful experience. The rooms are lovely. Large, incredibly comfortable beds, luxurious bathrooms, and outstanding room service.

The hotel is built around 10 restored heritage homes, but the rooms and suites are new. The routes to each room are through winding narrow pathways and I guarantee that you will get lost and be gently redirected by staff!

The spa is outstanding, as is the onsite gym and pool. I highly recommend the two hour Traditional Moroccan Hamman Ritual with masseuse, Hanna.

We dined at both restaurants and they were outstanding. One has a continental menu and the other a Middle Eastern menu. The service is impeccable and the food outstanding in both. Save room for their exquisite desserts!

My husband raved over the home made honey-saffron camel milk ice cream at the onsite ice cream shop.

The location is of the hotel is excellent for walking to museums and heritage sites. The concierge, Johannes, is eager to make recommendations for explorations. Zakaria and all staff at the reception office are equally outstanding.

The old souk is directly adjacent. There is no question that we will return in the near future. Highly recommend!

I booked The Chedi Al Bait as a surprise for my husbands birthday. It was a true 5* experience, I cannot rate this hotel highly enough.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we truly felt that everything was taken care of, allowing us to feel calm, relaxed and enjoy being in the moment.
Every aspect from the valet to dinner service was flawless and everyone working at the hotel was most professional and kind.

After checking in we were shown around by a wonderful lady called Wendy, who was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and kindly took us on a tour so that we would be familiar with the many facilities they have to offer.

The room was impeccable, every detail was carefully thought of and catered for all our needs.

We had the special Iftar menu for dinner in the Arabic restaurant. The food, setting and service was just wonderful. So much delicious food, we could not finish it all! Thanks to Imad for a fabulous service.

The next day, breakfast was again more delicious food and excellent service. My husband was even surprised with a beautiful saffron birthday cake!

We finished our stay with the cooking class, which was led by the amazing chef team. We created four courses of amazing food including lamb tagine and my husbands favourite, Um Ali. We had a great afternoon doing this.

Having stayed in many hotels in the UAE, this one truly stands out. It is a very special place, one which I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a serene retreat.

Many thanks again to all the staff for making our stay and my husbands birthday so special.
We will definitely return.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Chedi Al Bait and will definitely be back in the winter when we can fully enjoy the beautiful outdoor lounge spaces. Navigating the hotel can be a bit confusing at first, but everything is so beautiful and tastefully done that it's really a pleasure to get lost and keep wandering. The staff is exceptional, the food is delicious, and the hotel is walking distance to many cultural attractions (or a very quick drive in the summer heat.) They are also putting forth a lot of effort to address hygiene and social distancing in the age of coronavirus. Already looking forward to my next visit.

I spent 2 nights here and I’m very pleased with my choice! It was difficult for the taxi driver to find but once we arrived we were ushered through the narrow passage ways of something akin to a Moroccan village to be greeted at a lovely outdoor reception area with ambient lighting, water features and throw cushions aplenty. Check in involved a pleasant chat, a lavender drink with silver sugar and chocolate truffles! The room was beautiful- very tasteful and little treats like a complimentary mini bar of juices and dates and apricots laid out on the table. Amazingly comfortable bed too and a nice outdoor terrace. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant - we even ended up sipping chai with locals outside the hotel whom we were introduced to by a hotel sales executive we bumped into (thanks Fatima!). Lovely breakfast too. It was such a peaceful place to stay - perfect respite after an intense overseas trip

I loved my stay at Al Bait, from the moment I arrived valet were welcoming and the exceptional service continued from there. After check in, I was given a tour by Chataou. He explained all parts of the hotel and explained how to access everything, this was truly needed and his level of expertise were great. The rooms are lovely and very clean. Masks and sanitiser are provided as well as complimentary welcome snacks. As I was celebrating my birthday, the hotel kindly served with me a complimentary saffron cake in my room, which was delicious. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! Dinner in the Arabic restaurant was amazing, The perfect combination of good ambitious and delicious food! The next day, I went for breakfast and was greeted by Yousef, again very friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu is al a carte and has a good variety of dishes available. The French toast was my favourite! After breakfast, I decided to go to the pool, which has to be booked in advance due to co-vid restrictions which was very well managed. Each booking is 2 hours long, which was plenty of time to relax, read my book and go for a swim! I absolutely loved this hotel and can't wait to go back and be greeted with 'welcome home' Thank you Al Bait :)

The Chedi in Sharjah is a synonymous of “home hospitality”. Starting from check-in with a fantastic hotel tour we were overwhelmed by the kindness and professionalism of the staff.

It’s a boutique hotel with beautiful, big, well equipped rooms.

Breakfasts were amazing with lots of choices but what took our hearts was the waiter remembering our preferences every day.

Pool is very cosy, clean and silent (for max 10 people I guess) and you get free locally made sorbet ice-creams from the lifeguard - isn’t that awesome?

In general big big congratulations for creating such an amazing experience!

Dear JacekGluchowski, Warm greetings from The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah! Thank you for staying with us. The entire team is thrilled to receive your feedback and we are glad to know we’ve exceeded your expectations. Indeed, The Chedi Al Bait is home – it used to be a house of a prominent family that made a successful contribution to the growth and development of Sharjah. True to its name – the hotel is an amalgam of history and luxury, hence, a visit to our hotel will transport you back in time and experience the luxury of the present. Dining experience is as important as the stay itself, our culinary team cooks food a la minute to ensure its freshness while the service team ensures preferences are checked accordingly. Your safety is important to us; therefore, we make sure physical distancing is observed in the pool by allocating time usage, plus, due to the weather – nothing beats summer heat but cold popsicles. Thank you for the warm wishes, we do hope to have the opportunity to showcase our warm hospitality to your friends and family too in the near future. In the meantime, keep safe and healthy. The fantastic experience at Al bait began before we even arrived at the hotel. All of the staff, Jaira in particular, were most helpful over email ensure all my additional requests (it was our anniversary) were met and promptly responded to any query made.
We received a fabulous room upgrade for a fraction of the price, and we sent full details of the hotel and its amenities before arrival.
On arrival, we were greeted warmly by the front house manager Ahmed, and all the team and this high standard of serviced continued throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff in the spa, the restaurant, the housekeeping and reception staff were all friendly, professional and all round fantastic at what they do.
The hotel itself is gorgeous and is designed beautifully with amazing features in the room that blends new and old and has a wonderful relaxing vibe to it Our room, which was a suite, was incredible with the most amazing bath you’ve ever seen.
The breakfast we had the next day was again fresh and very nice, as well as the staff again being very attentive ensuring we had all we needed.
All in all, it was one of the best hotel experiences we have had, and in the heart of Sharjah, something you wouldn’t expect. The place is quiet, romantic and full of character you could be anywhere in the world.

Stop debating, book now.
We did a three night stay in November 2021 and it was bliss.
We found it hard to find a luxury hotel, that also remains true to the Arabic culture and heritage, until we found the Chedi.
The hotel itself is stunning. The rooms are beautifully and traditionally decorated without compromising on luxury or comfort.
The seemingly endless maze of outdoor corridors and beautiful patios are tranquil and gives the impression the hotel is very calm and private.
The service throughout the hotel is a really high standard. Staff are attentive, but not overbearing, making it easy to relax.
We enjoyed 3 delicious meals in the Arabic restaurant, and we felt they were fantastic value for money.
We also enjoyed a massage at the spa. The ladies and mens spa are separate, which is to be expected in Sharjah, but both spas were luxurious.
Would highly recommend.

We are thrilled to receive your recommendation, indeed, there is nothing to dispute, The Chedi Al Bait is a must-visit as it is the only luxury hotel combined with culture and heritage in the Emirate. Refurbished from the original houses of the Al Midfa family, the alleys are a reminder of a labyrinth, however, the queue is on the lanterns which will direct you to the reception. It is very close to the creek but that is more of a boating waterway. The hotel does offer access to a private beach about 2km away and provides a free shuttle service between the hotel and beach.
