The Nur Hotel is not near the airport. It's a 15 minute taxi ride and 25 TL. It is near a lot of cafes and shops. The hotel is behind a mosque. That will be a problem for you at the first call to prayer. The room had a column in the center of the room and this made it...

- Very great view from the roof terrace. - Friendly English speaking reception in the afternoon till night. - Not always warm water for shower (50/50) - We had half times a nice woman making the breakfast and half times another, which showed up seldom and we had first to put away stuff to have place to eat.

Nur Hotel is next to the mosque right off Ataturk Square. We walked downhill to the covered market where beautiful vegetables, fruits, cheeses, etc. are sold. Bread and pastries are excellent in Trabzon. We had room 56 with 2 beds, 3 windows that open, and good floor space. Hotel is in good repair. Nice breakfast on 6th floor. Good view...

I was there 6 months ago. It was a 3 night-stay in Nur. The room was spacious and tidy. I like the view on the roof top where you have breakfast everyday. Although the English conversation wasn't smooth between me and the staffs, they were ready to help all the time. I will never forget the help from one of...

THe Nur is really in the centre of Trabzon and you can almost walk everywhere from here. Great location and good staff who are co-operative and speak some English The breakfast is good and overall this is a good place to stay. The rooms are fairly average but if you are travelling then they are comfortable and quiet (if you...

The location is great, it is very close to Ataturk Alani park and only couple of steps away from some of the bus company. If you take servis (free shuttle bus) to get into the city you don't even need to call a taxi, just ask local people and take some steps. The room is a bit small, but very...

The location is near to Ataturk Alani, you just have to walk 5 minutes and many restaurants can be found around the Meydani/Alani. I like staying at this hotel, the staffs are really friendly, and one of them Hasan (the owner of the hotel) was very kind by giving me free ride to the airport at on the last day...

There are good and not-so-good points with the Nur. The good: super central location; reasonable prices; a very nice view from the roof; a staff that went out of their way to be helpful to us -- really, they made the stay worthwhile. Only two people on staff spoke English, but even those who didn't tried to help and would...
