This Hotel is all front there is a great entrance with good reception staff after that it goes downhill. The lifts had safety bars falling off and on our floor there were holes in the walls. The rooms were ok and clean so was most of the hotel. The food was a mish mash of curries spices even on the potatoes the mash potatoes were a gooey mess and did not want to leave the utensils we ate out most of the time the outside barbecue all they could do was burn everything and the smoke from it floated up to our rooms with a terrible smell all the tables were well stocked with dirty dishes and spilt food even the floor, You had to even hunt around for cutlery so when you as last got to your food it was cold the staff were run ragged and could not cope The inside dining room was the same with nowhere to sit because of dirty tables there was only two or three waiters running around trying to cater and clean for so many people, Even the drinks machine half of them were broken and there was two machines that worked when they felt like it and the teabags and sugar was running out all the time for hundreds of people. The pool was just as bad with cold food and one drinks machine to there was also one barman serving alcoholic drinks and there was hundreds of people by the pool sometimes there were 20 to 30 people waiting to be served. The entertainment was none existence, all you got was sound deafening Music that you could not get away from In our rooms and out side whilst trying to eat ETC. Etc, Etc. So how do people give Reviews of 5* I was glad to get out. over £2,000 for ten days in October…
I previously visited the diamond the year it opened and was blown away I have had great expectations of this hotel and recommended it to family we decided to visit in September 2022. First impressions in reception it was already looking a little dated. We were shown our room which was side seaview I was happy with the view however the hotel is showing signs of wear and tear! The carpet in the lobby’s is very worn there’s dints on the walls which is a shame as it’s not a cheap hotel. Last visit I praised the food this time it was not as good or varied we went all inclusive the drinks weren’t great drinkable but that’s about it. The entertainment team are brilliant and they make this hotel the location is 10/10 and the weather was glorious. Would I return for a 3rd visit possibly but only if I got a cheap deal which is a shame.…
My partner and I spent the most lovely time at this hotel over Christmas and the New Year. Staff are great very helpful but the facilities were slightly disappointing because the swimming pool was not available despite it being off season but weather was wonderful. What impressed me most was the staff kindness in feeding street cats out of their own pocket. I felt this is very humane thing to do. One thought though if guests are encouraged to do the same like myself they should provide cat food themselves (rather then give money to the staff) . which they can buy from a Migros supermarket just by the Hotel. Overall wonderful stay.
My husband and I stayed at GND Hotel last September for the second time and once again had the most fabulous vacation. As soon as we arrived the Public Relations manager Mr. Ali and his wonderful staff recognized us from the first time we stayed there and immediately upgraded us from a smaller room to a suite with the best view of the whole hotel overlooking the pool, sea and mountains ... simply WOW !!! The hospitality in this hotel is second to none. We trained in the fabulous hotel gym and were always made to feel welcome by Tayfun who is in charge of the gym facility. Of course the food was absolutely fabulous and with so much variety, there is always something delicious for everyone to enjoy. The Animation team lead by Gino were simply amazing and I know first hand that it's not easy to keep the smile on your face all day every day but they do it with enthusiasm. The restaurant staff are always super friendly and welcoming and not forgetting the kindness and friendliness of Hüseyin who leads the pool bar staff ... what a great team of people. We have never been back to the same hotel twice when we go on vacation but in the case of GND we will continue to come to this beautiful oasis time and time again ... a diamond indeed!!…
Can you smoke on the balcony of the vesper suites Turunç? I see it is a non smoking building but wondered if you can still do so on balcony. It's showing a good price but don't want to book if I cannot have a cigarette
I was at this hotel with my family in september, was one of the most beautiful experience i made, the hotel was perfect, we Loved the food, the place, the people, The working staff or the pool bar, the Animation staff. My daugther especially Loved the work of the Animation, they was perfect and the Prowess of the bar pool, the barman Gurkan is an amazing person and did special cocktails for her! Also the lifeguard Serkan is an incredible person, we had so much fun with him! We particulary liked from the Animation staff Alina, Simbad, the Dj and Gino, very beautiful people! We are so happy we came here, we will be back that's for sure!
This hotel is a jewel in the Marmaris crown, it stands majestic in amongst a vast array of hotels. Its position is excellent, the beach although not sandy is a stones throw away. The food is excellent and the staff are very attentive and professional.
Amazing hotel. Staff are all lovely. Food choices the first night was terrible we had to eat out but every other night was fine. The hotel is very expensive and although it's lovely and had a great stay asking £1000 or more per person is to much especially with the living crisis. The hotel was clean but buffering the floors as much as they did caused them to be slippery and myself and my 3 kids all slipped at least once on staying there. Would defo stay again if the price was right as i simply can't afford to pay the prices now with having 3 children too which is a shame.
Beautiful resort and location. The location wise is good not far from grand bazaar. There is a bus that runs up and down the road which charges 10 liras. The food does get repetitive and maybe need to look at putting different foods on for different cultures.
My partner and I stayed here as a last minute 9 night stay. We upgraded our room to seaview which was nice. This hotel could be great if the staff were friendly out of the whole 9 nights we found 3 that actually acknowledge you. The lovely staff was pastry chef who actually got me a fresh omelette cooked for breakfast after I was told to eat the vile omelette precooked and cut in to pieces. Wouldn't mind but I only asked as I seen the staff cooking themselves 1 and eating it behind the counter if they was busy I could understand but this was the last week and very quiet. Never been to a 4 or 5 star hotel where you have to fetch your drink at your evening meal not once was we asked while staff did nothing but talk. Alcohol was poor , I did find something that was OK but the bacardi was awful. The cleaner was hit miss, we had 1 cup in our room we had to fetch our own plus coffee and milk. There was nice food cooked outside on the evening good job as inside the restaurant wasn't great, the pool bar snack bar was so repetitive with food. We have stayed at a few top hotels in marmaris and for staff friendliness this was the worst. Did look good if you have children.…
