I've been twice to Huzur Vadisi (which means Peaceful Valley). It's my favourite yoga retreat centre by a long way. Here you truly are deep in Nature in a peaceful valley, where the only sounds are from goat bells, pine trees rustling, insects buzzing lazily...More
My third visit. On yoga retreat with Catherine Annis. Yurt clean, comfortable and spacious. Showers hot and with amazing views. The pool is fabulous and the seated cushion areas provide shade in the heat and a place to gather in the evenings. Communal meals under...More
I stayed at Huzur for a week during Catherine Annis's yoga retreat. First off, the quality of the yoga was superb and catered to all levels. I prefer more dynamic yoga, at least in the mornings, and Catherine's classes ticked that box for me. The...More
Spent a week at Huzur Vadisi on a yoga retreat last month. The property is basic but comfortable and the location beautiful. I instantly loved it. The energy and feel of the place is difficult to explain, but it totally makes up for any discomfort....More

We are around a 10 - 15 minute taxi ride away from several beach options. There is a long sandy, slightly shingly beach at Inlice, backed by a pine forest with lovely views. In Gocek itself the options are a short boat trip to Gocek Island, with a small, black sand beach, backed by forest. Or there are two beach clubs in Gocek reached by a short drive or a short boat trip across the bay, there is an admission charge for these.
