Great clean room with luxury bed. I was there to fish but still wanted a nice hot shower and comfortable bed. Meals and service were excellent. Got a great nights sleep and breakfast in the morning, and even managed to hook into a fish in the 1700 ft of private water.

Wow. Who knew there would be a place like this in the middle of nowhere! This is a repurposed Elementary school that is stunningly redone into a great lodge. From the check in to check out, first class in every way. Angela on the front desk was extremely helpful when I needed assistance. Everyone here was friendly. The place was very clean and well appointed. Even though there was a wedding the weekend I was here, you wouldn't know it because of how things are spread out. For my personal preference, I would have liked a firmer bed and pillows, and a better brand of coffee for in room use. Restaurant was good and fairly priced. I would come back here in a heartbeat. Be aware cell service is spotty-or non existent-depending on your carrier. Highly recommended!

This is a great place to stay. I was very pleased with the room and the food. We stopped on our way to the Adirondack and wished we could have stayed another night. It is quite place with beautiful grounds definitely off the beaten path.

Great stay on our way up to the Thousand Islands area! Clean, comfortable, pretty setting, and plenty to do. Game room, fire at night with supplies for s’mores, nice fitness center, hot tub, pool…we were sad to have only stayed one night! Restaurant was outstanding. Pricey dinner, yes, but if you’re gonna splurge you want it to be worth it and it was! We didn’t have breakfast there as they were quite busy and had a wait time when we went in the morning of our departure and we wanted to get going but the menu looked good. Beds were comfy. Adjoining rooms would have been nice but I am guessing the walls (elementary school converted to a lodge) were not conducive to making adjoining rooms, or perhaps that was not available when I booked. They did put our two rooms right next to one another, and my kids who were with us were 17 and 20 at the time of our stay so no big deal. Hung out around the fire at night, took a walk by the river, and played some pool and darts in the restaurant while waiting for our food to arrive. Everyone we encountered was friendly. Attended a wedding here. This place is a resort property in the middle of nowhere, focused on fishing and other outdoor activities. For a "resort", the prices are moderate, but pricey for a lodge in the boondocks. Room was typical, wedding dinner was good, breakfast was typical. Staff was good, sometimes excellent.

I wish that I could find a Hilton Lodge everywhere to stay! It was like a Hallmark movie setting! Beautiful. Peaceful and quiet in the room. Perfectly clean and superior quality all the way around. I LOVED this property!

The hotel is beautiful. The room was very clean. We found the mattress to be soft, ours at home is firm. We were there on a weeknight but it was very quiet. Some things I missed were complementary bottled water and no TV channel guide. The restaurant and bar are beautiful. Food was great and staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a nice trail right on the hotel grounds which takes you right by the river. I would definitely recommend it.

As far as I'm concerned, it is the only place to stay if coming here with family. This really is a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Very nice rooms, comfortable beds, pleasant staff, nice restaurant and bar. There is an outdoor firepit as well for when the weather isn't nasty outside.

It’s our third year staying here for 2 nights over February break with our kids. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The kids have a blast in the pool playing for hours with other kids. Staff are friendly and helpful. We eat dinner nightly in the restaurant and the food is always good. They have modifications for gluten free diets as well. Complimentary coffee in the morning is a nice touch.

I think the entire place is awesome BUT... Our room which had 2 queen beds had NO CHAIR..!! I don't think I have ever been in a room without a chair, certainly NOT a HILTON... Our friends came to our room to visit for a bit and had nowhere to sit except on the bed.. It was an uncomfortable experience.. Don't get me wrong, the rest of the room was beautiful as was the entire inn. I would certainly go back, I just would ask for a different room..
