The facilities are adequate for a budget hotel. I was given the large room with two single beds and a sink, so that was a good deal. I still wish I had a private bathroom, though the public bathrooms weren't much of a problem. The location is also very central--between the Seljuq historical sites and the Mevlana Museum. There were...

We spent 4 nights at Ulusan at the end of September during the Sufi music festival. The hotel was perfectly located, clean, and offered at a wonderful price. The host, Ali, was really kind and helpful, and made us feel very welcome and at home both in the hotel and in Konya. We highly recommend and look forward to our...

We rolled into Konya and found our way to the Ulusan. It's basic, but spotless and Ali is very enthusiastic and helpful. The location is excellent - it's very close to the Mevlana Museum. It's great value - if you're on a budget, stay here!

Arrived in Konya after a long bus trip. Caught a taxi from the Otogar 20 lira to Ulusan Otel as it is quite a fair distance but you can catch the tram into the centre of old Konya. Ulusan Otel is only a 5 minute walk from the tram stop.  The tram trip would cost 2.50 Lira. (We did the...

We visited Konya to see Rumi's tomb and we really enjoyed our stay at the Ulusan. The location was perfect for us as the Mevlana museum is an easy walk away and Sham's tomb is very close by. It is kept spotlessly clean by the wonderful manager Ali who made us so comfortable and welcome. We were sorry to leave,...

We stay in this hotel for 1 night and everything was really nice. It was clean and cosy, not too luxurious but that's how we like it. The manager was really nice and cheerful, and gave us precious advices for our coming tour of the city. What's more, the price was really low : incredible quality to price ratio

Ali is a great host, making you feel at home. It has been a family business for many years. It's good value for what you get. The WiFi is fast. The place is always very clean. It's located very near the Mevlana museum, as well as several other museums. It's also in walking distance to the Dervish dancing hall.

Very good place to stay and the one I would recommend going to if you're passing through Konya. The location is good, but the windy streets did pose a problem the first few times although you do soon find your way around. The room was very nice, with its own sink, and was reasonably priced. The manager was very friendly...
