This property is a gorgeous 4 story old-style Greek house. The house is beautifully furnished. There is a rooftop terrace up the top with views over the town. The location is very convenient and close for the Acropolis and red basilica. Within the house there is a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge area upstairs. Downstairs there is a huge...

Unfortunately the tourist industry in Turkey has suffered from recent political and security incidents. So I had the whole house to myself for the night I was in Bergama. It is a beautiful old house. Air conditioning not working when I was here - and it was a hot night. But the room was comfortable and the owner was friendly,...

Best coffee in Turkey is a bold statement! OK, the best coffee in a guest houe in Turkey! This place is clean, quiet and comfortable and Arsin and his family are helpful and friendly. The breakfast is ample and has a great mix of foods (even if you are vegetarian, and don't eat wheat) and the coffee is filter and...

Stayed here end of June for two nights. If arriving in town via bus at the bus station outside of town, then take a local bus to the football stadium. Walk up the main road past tourist information and the museum, and passed a Turkish baths. The road will curve to the right a bit toward the red basilica, but...

The room was comfortable with a good shower. The terrace has great views and is a great place to sit and relax in the evening. Ersin was friendly and helpful. Bergama is a peaceful town, and I would recommend you come visit!

We found this place through lonely planet and were really glad that we dud! Ersin and his wife, along with their harming son, run a tasteful, peaceful home just walking distance from the teleferik (cable car) to the top of the Acropolis of Pergamum, a breathtaking ruin that is well worth a visit. The house is up a quiet street,...

We found the host to be friendly and helpful, even reserving a park for our rental car. Note that the lanes in the old town are very narrow so you'll want a small car if you are driving. Our Turkish decor room was small but simple, with a toasty hot shower. It was a bit noisy at night because it...
