We visited Roof 14 Divan with my husband for our evening meal this evening - the food was delicious, service was just perfect, and with regards to the pandemic - we felt very safe with all hygiene safety at high standard. Chef Gökhan looked after us throughout the evening, he recommended to us the meze and the meat platter - both were spectacular and full of flavour. We would like to pass our thanks onto Chef Gökhan, he made us feel very welcome and looked after. We will definitely be visiting again very soon.

Mersin Divan is among one of the best hotels that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing and I have been to many 5 star hotels all across the globe.
First of all, they go above and beyond in following protocols regarding Covid-19 to keep everybody safe. For instance, there are temperature checks of individuals who are entering the hotel every time, including those who stay here. They also have hand sanitizer all over for convenience along with social distancing markers while the elevators are touch free. This also applies to cutlery as they are individually wrapped and sealed for further protection, while everyone is wearing masks 24/7 inside the building.
When it comes to food, it is truly exceptional. I have tried most of the menu and every dish comes with it's own presentation and flavour while keeping the consistency of quality at the very top. The staff are incredibly friendly and are always there for assistance. They truly know how to display hospitality and this in turn makes Divan feel more like a home than a hotel, which is extremely rare these days. If you are in Mersin and would like to a have wonderful hotel experience with friendly people and amazing food, while keeping yourself safe during this pandemic, I wholeheartedly recommend Mersin Divan!

In these crazy times of covid-19, it's incredible what the staff at Divan Mersin are doing with a smile on all their faces. From the friendly valet to the tall man with kind eyes who takes your temperature when you check in, everyone is wearing masks and ready to help.
I stayed at the hotel for a week and I now eat at their rooftop restaurant very often. At the rooftop restaurant, Baris makes sure we are well served with his English skills and positive energy.
The other waiters and the hostess are also incredibly friendly. The waiters from breakfast time always made sure I got the extras I asked for, especially when the breakfast buffet was replaced with a set breakfast tray during covid (they remembered I liked extra Labneh and started bringing it to me each morning!).
The staff put themselves at risk each day, from the waiters to the cleaning crew, and deserve a huge thank you!

I am currently staying at the Divan Hotel in Mersin in a sea view room and I have to say the hotel has everything you need. This is my second stay, and both stays have been perfect. The staff are very friendly, helpful and just lovely people. The hotel is very clean, has great showers / water pressure, comfortable beds, effective air con and pretty public areas. There was music last night on the 14th floor which has stunning views all across Mersin, it was a lovely atmosphere. There is a wide selection of food, I had breakfast earlier in the week which was fresh and delicious. I will definitely stay in other Divan Hotels after this experience. A special mention to the lady at the front door who could see I was very warm and brought me a towel without the need for me to ask for me to cool my face. And a very special mention to the lady who cleaned my room today 403, she deserves lots of praise for her kindness and compassion when I was not feeling very well. She dressed my bed differently and to my preference and brought me cold water, and showed me great compassion when i really needed it, she is a credit to your hotel. I am sorry that I do not know her name. Go ahead and book without concern, you will not be disappointed. Hotel Divan - Thank you for a lovely stay.

My stay at this hotel was very good.
From the beginning, I was well advised and helped me orient myself and carry the luggage.
Ismail Bicem helped me the most, he did everything to me and my family for well, that we were satisfied and that we had a good stay.
I lost my cell phone when I got to the hotel at a gas station, he helped me find it again, he called, wrote emails to the gas stations employees, although it didn't have much to do with his actual work, he did everything to help me, and I found it because just of him. I would like to say that although it wasn't about his work, he was always friendly and very helpful, no matter which hotel I ever was at, there has never been someone this helpful, just a big thumbs up!

The location of the hotel is very clean, tidy and hospitable, if you need something, for example, there is always someone for you around the clock.
The parking of the car is made by the employees if you allow them and it always has a parking space available for you.
There are many good chefs in hotels, but there is no such a good chef cook as Divan‘s, the chef will conjure up a very delicious meal, whether steak, salads and so on.

Service was really attentive, everything was very clean and in a good order. Rooms are nice and tidy.
During the check-in I asked if we could swap garden view to sea view room (we were ready to pay extra). By my surprise, staff at the reception just upgraded us to sea view room without any extra fee. Gorgeous to wake up to such view.
Food at Roof 14 restaurant is really decent, but the main thing there is that view again. Go at the evening for a drink and some live music or for a late breakfast during the weekend.
Location is quite convenient and there is plenty of parking space for your rented/personal car.

We paid for a hotel stay in turkey between the dates 25/09/23-01/10/23. When we booked the hotel we requested a baby cot, this was confirmed in an email. When we arrived late in the night there was no cot, we called reception and they bought one up for us. The following day we found our baby with a screw in her hand, this had come out the baby cot, we immediately spoke to Reception and they switched the baby cot for a different cot. The following day, we left the room around midday, when We returned to our room that night our room hadn’t been cleaned. We didn’t make a fuss but we requested additional coffee, towels etc. the following day we left the room around midday again, when we left the room me and my husband checked that the do not disturb sign was taken off as we wanted the room to be cleaned, however when we returned that night (29th September), we realised again that no one had cleaned the room again, we immediately checked the do not disturb sign which was off, my husband went down to reception to complain as our baby was sleeping, he spoke with the night manager. He was apologetic, he questioned if we left the do not disturb sign on. We knew we hadn’t as we thought we may have the day before so we double checked before leaving. The manager offered to clean the room straight away but as it was midnight by this point we declined. He took a note, he sent us more clean towels etc. we felt we had Been dealt with and this wouldn’t happen again. The following morning the 30th September, whilst we left the room again around midday the receptionist called us over to say she noted our complaint, we explained the issues we’d had and again we felt like this had been dealt with. We returned that night late again, we once again hadn’t had our room cleaned. We checked the do not disturb sign which had been off again all day. My husband Called night manager and he came to the room. He was apologetic and he said he has no words to say why it hasn’t been cleaned. He offered us a different room out of principle we accepted, he was aware this wasn’t a good standard. Sunday the 1st we checked out at 5am, the receptionist and the bell boy was aware of our complaint and they were very apologetic. He told us someone would contact us and offer a refund. We didn’t make any comment at that point as the whole experience was not what we paid for and ruined, I am 8 months pregnant, and this experience was mentally and physically upsetting. We handed a letter of complaint to raise to the hotel manager with our details including phone number and email. We haven’t heard anything from them until my husband called on Friday the 6th of October. He spoke with guest relation which she accepted the situation however they have tried to blame it on us. It’s another punch in the teeth instead of apologising and making the situation right. This wasn’t the outcome we was looking for, this is the poorest service we have ever received. A 5 star hotel with a 1 star mentality!

Went for 2 trip with colleagues to Mersin to enjoy relaxing weekend and choosing Divan Hotel was good decision. The hotel has certificate of safe tourism by Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the hotel room is spacious with great sea view, and very clean with comfortable bed, good Turkish breakfast (although there is no coffee but delicious fresh poğaça). The location is a bit far from city center therefore a car or taxi will be necessary. There is one shopping center behind the hotel, thus for shoppers - the hotel is definitely in strategic location.

For the iron and board I requested from the reception. An iron and ironing board were brought in such a way that no one would even use it at home. The residues under the iron stick to the ironing surface. I purposely left that mark on the bed sheet to show this to the hotel officials.
Claiming to provide quality service, I request the management of Divan Hotel Mersin to iron their work clothes with this iron. I recommend this to the hotel management in the same way that a chief waiter tastes the food he is presenting.
This should not be the price for the difference paid for quality . Attention please.

Wonderful place and excellent hospitality, warm and welcoming atmosphere, clean and healthy environment, Divan is about giving great service in a relaxed way. Especially their service, they are supposed to be like the conductor of a symphony. They pay attention to your needs, know how you like your coffee, and always trying to make you relaxed and make you feel precious.
