Travertine and Hieropolis were very close, about 5 minutes. You can easily walk to the bottom of the travertine and walk up or you can take a taxi to the top, walk around Hieropolis and then down the travertine. Denizli train station may be about 45 minutes away (if I'm remembering correctly because we left from the Denizli airport, not train station - the train station is probably still at least 30 minutes).
