I stayed in the Aspawa Hotel in Pamukkale in June of 2015. Most of the reviews I read prior to booking were positive but the negative ones made me pause. I think that the owner must have read them also because I did not encounter any of the issues they had mentioned. I was warmly greeted with a cup of... More

We had to change rooms as I had an accident and needed a ground floor room and they did so immediately. We were able to dry our washing and were looked after in a very friendly way. Great swimming pool. And close to all amenities.

This place wasn't bad, but i get the idea that the owner (or lady that helped us) just wants to make money and will be nice as long as you are doing what they want. We booked looooong in advance, but then waned to change our booking (at least 1 MONTH before we actually went there). We wanted to only... More

Aspawa is close to Pamukkale's main attraction, is clean and affordable, has a pool and the food by the owner's wife is simple but tasty, and the dinner (paid) portions are hearty. Quite close to a mosque, which means you can hear everything that the muezzin has to say, though we slept so well that it didn't bother us.

Turned up after a long bus ride to be told our "air conditioning was broken" and that it "was 40 degrees" up in our room. It wasn't a sweltering day so we asked to see the room and then make judgment from there. We were absolutely refused, even after asking several times. He wouldn't even let us enter the building.... The pension is very close to the town centre. Adam is just like an amiable father who always wears a smile and kindly offers assistance whenever you need help. The clean swimming pool makes the pension look like a vacation resort. What you can't miss the excellent dinner. Though it takes extra charge, it definitely worth it in terms of... More
