It wouldn't be a stretch to say staying at Aravan Evi was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. My husband and I stayed at this small hotel for five nights at the beginning of our vacation in Turkey and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Even before arriving in Cappadocia, I knew we were in... More

Where to start - easy flight to Kayseri, Okan's father picked us up, and drove us to this small hotel in a small town, where Okan welcomed us and took us touring for the afternoon (while we pelted him with questions). Okan's mother cooked us wonderful, traditional meals, much of the food coming from their farm. Okan arranged for a... More

My sister and I stayed at Aravan Evi for 3 nights at the end of September. Our flight arrival at Kayseri was delayed and we got there around 10:30 p.m. Okan, the hotel owner's son, was there to pick us up and drove over one hour to the hotel (no charge). We would have been totally lost without this special... More

Been visitng Turkey for 15 years. This was the best experience in Cappadoccia. Okan is excellent host quiet, responsible, and very helpfull. We were the only guests on our stay and it seemed Okan, his mother and family were just looking after us. Mother cooked great food on traditional oven on hand plucked wood from nearby. It had everything you... More

We were lucky enough to stay in Aravan Evi for four nights. As we were the only guests, we had Okan and his family's undivided attention. Ayvali, a small village a few kilometers outside Urgup, is very peaceful and from the Aravan Evi terrace, you can watch time go by as it has done for many years. The room we... More

My husband and I stayed at Aravan Evi for two nights this past August. Our room was beautiful and spacious (including hand embroidered linen). The outdoor terrace has an amazing view of the town of Ayvali and the surrounding landscape, plus is filled with bright potted flowers and grapevines. We rented a car through the hotel (very convenient) and received... More

We (family with 2 children 9 & 6 )stayed at the Aravan Evi Boutique Hotel in August 2011 and it was just wonderful . I can honestly say I have never stayed in a place and felt so looked after - Okan and his family are omnipresent (but not too intrusive) to meet all your needs whether its to develop... More

My friend and I stayed there for two nights in August. From our arrival to departure, I always felt at home. Okan and his family were very friendly and full of hospitality. Breakfast and dinner his mother cooked were all very nice; many kinds of vegetables from their garden were well prepared and the terrace where the table was set... More

Can't fault Aravan Evi, and Okan really goes out of his way for his guests, nothing is too much trouble. We loved our stay there and found it very relaxing, good view with great food.
