I was in the area on a business trip and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. I enjoyed my stay very much. I am familiar with the area and have stayed at similar hotels before and this one was a very pleasant experience. The staff at this hotel are very friendly. The view is great, especially from the restaurant....

Just back and love, loved this hotel!! It was so beautiful, amazing room, and views and the BEST dinners we had during 2 1/2 weeks in Turkey (and $12 for 5 courses!) There are many cave hotels to chose from but we chose this one as it's at the highest point in Urgup and has the best views from the...

My husband and I spent a couple of nights at this hotel this last July and we were absolutely fascinated with it !! Our room was really a cave room and while we had 38C outside it, inside was always confortable and cool. We had a jacuzzi room but in fact the jacuzzi is for only one person so we...

Despite many years of marriage, my husband and I were told that we were being given the “Honeymoon room” at Elkep Evi and it did not disappoint. We had a beautiful outside sitting room and the cave room itself was well decorated with lovely rugs, a day bed, and a large bathroom with tile mosaics. There was a jacuzzi, although...

My friends and I decided to splurge a bit for our stay in Cappadocia. We picked Elkep (more expensive than many other hotels around but still cheaper than some) and it was a great decision. The cave rooms, as other reviewers have mentioned, were cool literally and figuratively. They were very spacious and with decoration that fit the environment very...

Hi there, Well I have to say that this hotel is a good one with some problems. As a small travel agent from Antalya we visited this hotel last year. It was in the evening when we arrived there so we had no chance to search an other hotel. While we talked to the manager (23-25 year old lady) we...

Wonderful place for a short break. Good value, and the staff are super helpful. They arranged our 2 tours and balloon flight. Tours are well organised, and the best way to see the region. Lunch included in both cases. Balloon flight a MUST. To see this naturally created area with it's winding valleys and huge rock formations from 3000 feet...

I stayed here in April 2007 with my wife and another couple. From the moment we arrived we were enthralled with the charm of this unique hotel in the magical Cappadocia area. Having seen the web site, I had an idea as to what to expect but I must say that it was even more impressive in person. Besides the...

During our 6-day stay in Turkey, this was by far the most enjoyable stay surrounded by the serene Cappadocian environment. We were well cared for by the owner, Hayder, and the staff throughout our short stay. The cave hotel has 21 rooms (some with jacuzzis or Turkish baths in beautifully tiled bathrooms) and suites with many niches and splendidly decorated....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
An excellent Cave hotel in urgups Cavern hill that offers a fabulous atmosphere and a perfectly exotic setting. The bonus here is larger and airier cave rooms, each with a private terrace carved into the nooks of the cliff, and gorgeous view over the cappadocian dreamscape. The wealth of architectural detail and invention draw one in. One ends up falling quite in love with this cave suites hotel. We also have new Cave suites. ... more   less
