Unique cave hotel in a mountain. Great views. Upgraded room was excellent (there are only 30 rooms), no room numbers, only names and it can be difficult finding your room the first couple of times. Have to learn the layout of the place. Had a view from our bed of the early morning balloons, 50 or so right in front...

The Museum Hotel is not only luxurious & tastefully decorated with antiques, it also has sweeping views of Cappadocia, great food, a beautiful outdoor deck with a bar & a roman pool & not to forget -very hospitable staff! Each room appears to be unique- ours was great with quality furnishings & linen, comfy bed & L'Occitane toiletries. Their massage...

We spent just one wonderful night at the Museum Hotel. Absolutely breathtaking hotel built into the mountainside! The decor of the rooms, the terraces, the gardens, the resident peacocks- everything was fabulous. My husband and I had a huge suite with red and white wine dispenser. We were a family of 5 in three rooms and every room was unique,...

Wonderful accommodations in a cave setting with amazing views. A must when in Cappadocia. The restaurant is also wonderful; they grow most of their ingredients. Also recommend getting up early to watch the balloons taking off and landing in the nearby fields. An outdoor shave is also worthwhile.

The Museum Cave Hotel is an experience full of character and personality. The rooms are carved into the sandstone cliffs. Some rooms include taps that dispense red and white wine. Our room was enormous. Ditto the alabaster bathroom with a Jaccuzzi that could contain four people. Outside our door was a beautiful garden with peacocks. The hotel includes the owner's...

Stayed for one night. This hotel is really like museum, with antique items everywhere. Superb service, very good and spaciuos rooms in the caves. View from the rooftop terrace and restaurant is extraordinary. Breakfast was very rich of choice. Pool and massage center is built very stylish. Location for all Cappadocia tours is good.

Mr. Omer Tosun got it right! What a historic treasure the "The Museum Hotel of Uchisar (meaning the highest castle), Cappadocia" was. Mr. Tosun's attention to details exceeds expectations. With approval from the Turkish Ministry of Culture, he took 10 abandoned prehistoric stone houses and over 60 cave ruins, once inhabited by Cappodocians for thousands of years, and turned it...

I've spent 3 nights in this lovely place right in the center of Cappadocia and enjoyed it very much. Refreshing pool with a view over the valley - once you're over the first shock from the surprisingly cold water! Same great view from bar and restaurant terrace, or during massages. If you get up early enough you can see 100+...

If you can handle lots of steps with and without railings, this unique hotel will delight you. Each bedroom is different and set into the caves of the cliff side. Our room had a large picture window overlooking the valley with a window seat beneath it. In the morning we could see the hot air balloons sailing across the sky....

'Unique...' There is no other word that better describes Museum Hotel. Situated in a very special geographic region in Cappadocia, Museum Hotel has been designed and created from a distinctive combination of the land and historical features and ruins, some intact and some beautifully restored to their original glory. The hotel features 30 rooms & suites-each of them exceptional in their own inimitable way. No room can be alike, with each bringing its own special ambiance, contributing to Museum Hotel's evident character and charm. Steeped in thousands of years of history, there is a magical feel to the hotel. Our unusual 'living museum' concept means our cave rooms and specially restored traditional rooms are all decorated with priceless antiques and feature stunning views of Cappadocia-just some of the elements that go to make Museum Hotel... well, unique!
