You will feel like you are visiting family. We only stayed 2 nights but we felt so comfortable going in and out and having our kids play in the small courtyard area. It is really close to the main street of shops and restaurants. Faruk used to sell rugs and has many still. If you are interested in a very...

A very friendly and inviting, family-run, guesthouse - Faruk, the owner, was extremely helpful and responsive to our queries prior to our stay. During our stay, Faruk's sons were constantly at hand, ever striving to be helpful and make us feel comfortable. I loved the little outdoor lounge area, upstairs, by the kitchen - a beautiful spot to relax for...

We went as family with two kids. Faruk (the owner) was very attentive and went to great length to make us more than comfortable. it is old style home stay with good location, walking distance to town centre making it easy to access restaurants, shopping or transportation. the property needs a bit of overhaul but we were extremely happy with...

A nice cosy place which we found thru friends. Although its not a chic modern hotel, its compensated by the friendly atmosphere provided by the owner and his son who look after the guests so well. They really take good care of you, be it travel arrangements, lost baggage or balloon rides !!

Warm reception, a cozy double family room, a rustic breakfast spread each morning and personally guided tours around the place. This is was my second stay at Faruk's home stay (owner) and I went with my family (4 women) and it lived up to everyones' expectations. Will certainly be coming back to Goreme and the Kismet Cave House!

We loved our stay at Kismet with Faruk. Lovely room, delicious Turkish breakfast, close to town (walking distance) yet away from the main touristy part. Faruk can arrange everything for you - balloon, car, tour etc, all you need to do is turn up. He is also a very caring and entertaining host. We felt like a part of the...

Amazing hotel, fabulous service and warm experience in extreme cold of November... Mr. Faruq made us felt like home and gave us the best experience of our lives... I was so impressed from the moment I arrived, with both the care and hospitality of the host, Faruk and his family. Notice it is called a 'home,' and this describes my experience perfectly. You are warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Travelling alone, I always felt safe and secure. This is house is beautifully decorated and immaculate....
