Staying at ShoeString added an extra highlight to our trip to Cappadocia. The property itself was so charming and different! We were graciously upgraded to a cave suite which was so wonderful! The room offered a really authentic feel and made our visit feel like that much more of a retreat from city life. However, the luxuries of modern living...

We've spent 3 days in goreme at this hotel and it was very good. Friendly staff ready to help you any time and quite relaxed atmosphere. We arrived late in the evening at still they managed to arrange us hot air ballon trip for the morning after. Breakfast was ok with the possibility of eating on a terrace outside with...

We had a great experience at Goreme Shoestring Cave hotel. We stayed for 3 nights in a deluxe cave. The room was warm, spacious, in an actual cave, plenty of room for luggage and stuff, the bathroom also very spacious. The staff very friendly. I was very excited to be staying at Shoe String even before I checked in, the novelty of sleeping in a cave was not something that I had experienced before. We were allocated a room on the very top rooftop terrace which offered great views of the town, fairy chimneys and the many many many hot air balloons. The room...

We stayed for 3 nights in April when the weather was excellent (though a bit dry and dusty - not great for the allergies). We had the deluxe rooms. Being a cave we did not know what to expect but our room turned out to be in a great location near the top and was good sized with a very...

Although I didn't get to see any other cave hotels while in Goreme, this one did the job. The rooms were small and humid, but what else do you expect from a cave hotel!? We slept well, took hot showers after hiking all day, and everything was satisfactory. Don't stay here if you're looking for a 5 star hotel, but...

Amazing hotel @ affordable prices in a great location. Walking distance to town & key sites.Staff such as Suleyman are all lovely & so helpful with recommendations & tours. Definitely recommend eating at Seten for incredible service, views & food. Likewise at Kalais Terrace for a more casual meal. And don't miss Chef ALICAN's breakfast. Definitely would come back!

The hotel is located at a very central location, easy access to everything. the rooms are a bit too small, but the bathroom is a good size. the insulation isn't all that great, or maybe it's because of the courtyard, you can pretty much hear what the next door people are talking about. one day, it was raining outside and...
