Thıs ıs a great hostel, centrally located and very reasonably prıced (15TL at Jan 13) per nıght for the dorm. They have food avaılable and a swımmıng pool ın summer. Operaters wıll take care of all your tour/balloon flıght needs and answer any questıons about Cappadocıa. Reccomended place to stay.

I found the major issue in this place was the lack of usable common space. There was a lounge area but the tv was constantly blearing in Turkish even when the staff had left the room which I found frustrating. I couldn't escape it completely in my room. It felt a lot like living in the Space of the family...

Its value for money accommodation. Simple design within the guesthouse but what makes it different is the hospitality of the staff and Ali especially. Guests can look forward to excellent advice for hikes and also can sign up for Ali's personally guided tour if there is enough people joining. Ali's tour is custom made and has a mix of both...

Emre's is right across the street from the otogar, between the town hall and a school. It is central and affordable though breakfast is not included here. You can walk to practically everything and Ali offers tours with prices in line with other places. The common room is cozy...they kept the wood stove going on rainy days. Easy to meet...

We had just come from a whirlwind trip to Southeast Turkey on March 31st, and were looking forward to the comforts of Kapadokya. We used to stay at "our" hotel, but it changed hands one too many times, and our visiting American friends wanted "on the cheap", so we booked by internet at Emre's for two nights. We just had...

Just got back from a fantastic holiday in Goreme, Cappadocia at the Emre cave house with my girlfriend and it was possibly the best holiday we've been on so far. We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. I want to thank Solomon, Mina and Bayram for looking after us and making it a memorable stay. The rooms...

Bugs, flies, Mosquitos, leaky toilet, sink, shower, sprays everywhere, mold, no cave room, empty pool, looks like a dump, lock is difficult. Breakfast is not included, but she will make breakfast and it is good. Manager is "all about the money" wanting to book a tour, sell food, sell drinks, etc. Her husband is sweet and helpful. Other places include...

Dear gypsysince72, Thank you for your review and useful comment on transportation from airports. But as I remember, there were not much bugs in April as it was cold (if there were, what can we do about it? we are in the middle of nature). Also I do not understand what do you mean by spray everywhere. And your reservation...

“If you can, call for reservations. they would rather you did it on-line, but sometimes there can be a little confusion; as I recall it isn't their website, but a booking website, so you may have some questions about cave room, hostel, bathrooms, etc. Mina's English is terrific, and she also speaks Turkish and Japanese.”
