Well, that was definitely the worst hotel on our two weeks Turkey trip. Almost by all dimensions. The worst, however, was that I booked the hotel because of the pools, for my daugther to recover from Istanbul culture and even contacted the hotel for that reason before and they did not tell me that there was no water in the pool. What a disappointment. Breakfast buffet was very poor. Rooms are very much below average.
This 5* hotel would be a low quality 3* hotel in Europe. It may still be the highest quality in Turkey, I cannot judge that. When entering the room it took about 5 minutes to get electricity as the magnetic card to activate lights worked randomly. The room was generally clean. Not so the bathroom (many black hairs). The room was quiet, probably because of the low hotel occupancy. This was overcompensated by the ancient fridge which was rattling all night. There were only Turkish TV channels. The free WiFi was throttled, it worked only early morning till about 6 am. There was no complimentary bottled water in the room while the tap water was not potable. The showerhead was totally calced, it sprinkled in every direction. The restaurant was a disaster. There was a serviced dinner done by extremely distracted, unattentive waiters who did not speak any languages (we tried five). They seamed to understand some English though. The food was specially bad. It was cold and badly seasoned. Anybody who has already had some decent Turkish food would have been shocked. We certainly were. There were some vegetarians in the group. The vegetarian dish was a seamingly unprocessed can of beans in a bowl. This is a shame in a country famous for its produce. Of course, there was no complementary water either. When we bought water they did not provide any glasses just the plastic bottles. One set of cutlery for alll courses (remember: they claim to have 5*). Breakfast was a buffet. All drinks were disgusting. The milk went sour, the coffee was terrible and the juices were not even remotely related to any fruit. The cheese was delicious though.…
If you spend stress-free holidays by the sea, let yourself be pampered and eat well, then this is the place for you. It was a few unforgettable days for us. It is always nice. Friendly staff, good food and nice rooms. I am happy to come back. Thanks to the whole team. Also in the summer.
We have made a reservation for 4 nights, but we could only stand for one night. This is absolutely not a 5-star hotel, very dirty first of all, very old, needs a deep renewal of goods. The price you pay versus the service you get is far away being competible. I dont think anyone staying this hotel will come again. Do not waste your money.
This hotel is on a beach and caters to lots of group tours. Staff pleasant and helpful. The bedroom had a balcony overlooking the beach; the furniture was dated with a little veneer peeling off the coffee table; the bed knobbly. Supply shampoo and conditioner, otherwise no extras. The mini bar does not stock everything stated on the list. I did not check out the facilities of the hotel. Buffet dinner and breakfast were good except for coffee. People who are looking for a summer beach holiday would probably like this hotel, but it is definitely not 5*.
The place where the hotel is situated is isolated so you won’t find shops if you want to buy something to eat cause the food was awful. The room was clean but not so The blanket has holes in it hahah :))) I don’t recommend it
Our tour agency booked us here. Dunno if this is a 5 star hotel but sure maybe about 30 years ago. Its kinda dated. Dining and breakfast course was not that good unless you're Turkish. Our table even had the salt and pepper shakers reversed. Aircon is on heater mode. The mini ref was unplugged that I had to plug it myself to work. Cost saving? One consolation is that our bathroom seems refurbished and somewhat new but few amenities inside.
Hotel Temizel isnt the best hotel you can find because its old, rooms are poorly designed, food variatons are poor and there isnt much to do inside the hotel. However it also has its ups, such as, it has its own beach with enough beach beds for everyone, small aquapark, nice swimming pools, good reception and overall good cleaning services. I recommend it to families for short vacations due to its location and cleanless however its not worth a second visit.
We stay 1 night and we came with group stay at Grand Hotel Temizel (8 Apr 2018) , hotel room old and when we stayed there and we found water in swimming pool is empty. Restaurant also need to be refurbish.
Just stayed for one night, i couldn't get time to explore much. However it looks nice. Our room and washroom were both clean. Apparently everything looked fine. There were so many pretty cats outside. Such a nice balcony with each room but again we checked in late night and checked out early morning so i couldn't get time to capture any more photographs.
