Just back from another brilliant break at this fantastic hotel. This was our 3rd visit & have booked to return in June. All I can say is what a great team all the staff are. Nothing is too much trouble for them. It’s like home from home . Guest relations really good , special shout out to Derya. Always on hand to answer all your questions. Keep up the good all of you & will see you soon. On countdown
Every staff is very friendly and polite. I got the proper service. Wide selection in the buffet food and dessert .Opportunity to explore so many facilities in the hotel. It’s very near to sea beach and side antique city.
The stay was overall enjoyable. The staff is friendly, the rooms are spacious, the food is good, the fact that it is spread over a large area is enjoyable for children, the situation may be different for those who do not like to walk. The bocce we played on the hotel's sand beach was fun. Even though we were in February, the heated outside pool was also enjoyable.
This hotel is spotlessly clean and well looked after. All the staff are friendly, welcoming and warming. Although we speak English and don't know Turkish we stoll found our holiday very inclusive. We came with our 2 year old and joined the mini club which she loved. There is lots of activities and entertainment such as the cinema which played English movies, games room, discos, dance shows and singing tributes. We stayed for 8 days and we wanted to stay longer. Sad to say goodbye to everyone but we will definitely be back. Already recommended to family and friends with the great experience we had.
The side star elegance was superb from the the food to the staff thankyou so much for an excellent stay we will definitely be back soon .A big shout out to the staff though .Nothing was too much trouble and the work so hard to make your stay a memorable one
Had an amazing time at this gorgeous hotel. Staff really friendly and helpful, clean modern hotel, great location on the promenade, good food, would definitely return. We had a room with a huge balcony and jacuzzi bath which was fantastic after a day of sunbathing.
Amazing hotel - everything was definitely All Inclusive plus - the cleanliness and atmosphere of the hotel was superb Choice & quality of food is excellent, spoilt with all variations from breakfast to late night snacks The animation team gave their utmost to entertain everyone - from young to old, there was something for everyone Deniz & all team went over and beyond to make sure people enjoyed their holiday, lots of activities brightened up a couple of cloudy days Deniz card tricks were pure magic!! The pools were immaculate also the beach area The indoor pool, fitness centre and spa was fabulous - we had Turkish hamman and 2 x 90 minute hot stone & hot oil massage - was the best ever!! Can’t fault this hotel

The food is lovely, Lots of choice, you can eat all day long if your wanted. Lots of fresh food. The entertainment team are amazing and great fun especially Deniz. Cannot wait to return.
We left the hotel again in October, with no intention of going back until June 2023...BUT, the weather in the UK was depressing, the price of the hotel for 10 nights was "Oh yeah" so we booked. Arrived on the 9th December ...Flights.,. so much better times for flights from the UK at this time of year..arrived at the hotel by 18.30..Welcome was superb as always, got to our room..unpacked, and then our holiday began. Everything was the same apart from the main pool bar was closed and the entertainment in the evening was in one of the many conference areas.. The service was superb as was the food and all of the staff... The fantastic animation team kept us entertained during the day with varying competitions, Darts, Turkish lessons, Art classes and lots of impromptu laughs.. Thanks guys...loved the Darts matches.. The girls in Guest Relations were as always a joy to talk to..they arrange a la cartes and any problems you may have..they do try and sort quickly. The weather was unbelievable..3 days of rain, 5 days of beautiful sunshine, and 3 hit and miss days...but nevertheless, we had a ball. Of course the demographic is different at this time of year, couples come here on "Long Stay" mainly groups from Germany but quite a few from the UK who stay for longer periods and celebrate Christmas and New Year at the hotel. Everyone just got on..It was a lovely atmosphere ...We decided on arrival home that we would go back again at this time of year... weather is warmer, the centre of Side less crowded, although most places were open... and it was joyful walking without the "Push and Shove"We love this hotel at any time of year..June and Late September being our favourite months, but December certainly offers so much, I would highly recommend....BUT.. AND I MEAN BUT...It's better for couple's and friends... it's ok if you have toddlers..but for younger teenager's etc...it really isn't the hotel for them... Yes that's just my opinion, but it's an honest One. This hotel is a welcoming place and deserves every accolade. Thanks again to all of you for a wonderful holiday..from Reception to the Gardner's to all the waiters, bar staff and housekeeping...You are fabulous.. See you all again soon.. Shirley and Tony 😎⛱️🍷❤️ …
BLUF: A huge facility with great potential however, lacks that cutting edge to be 5 star and is stacked with German senior citizens that are both rude and obnoxious. Not a hotel for British clientele. Does not cater for individuals with GLUTEN intolerance. We stayed at the SiDESTAR Elegance Hotel for 11 days over the Christmas and New Year booking through Jet2. Departing from Manchester was smooth, with self check-in simple enough with plenty of Jet2 staff on hand to assist. Boarding was seamless and the flight was pleasant. Arrival in Antalya was again smooth with baggage arriving promptly. Upon exiting staff were on hand to assist and direct to the numbered coaches. Transfer to the hotel was around 30/40 minutes (Traffic dependent). Check-in to the hotel was pleasant, we were greeted by the reception staff pleasantly who took our names and passports and proceeded to issue our bands with a quick overview of facilities etc. The welcome brief the following morning was at 1000 however, we slept in and missed it. The hotel itself is grand and spacious spanning numerous floors, something that takes a few days to get used to, somewhat of a labyrinth however, after a few days you soon become oriented (not all lifts go to all floors!). Within the hotel are vast numbers of senior German guests, which is fine however, most individuals encountered were rude and abrupt, and on occasion looked down their noses at other guests. We witnessed one lady huffing a puffing loudly as a disabled member slowed down the queue for food something out of their control (waiting staff could be on hand to assist). This was observed on numerous occasions in the main food hall where several German guests would sit, point and stare rather blatantly to the point where we had to wave to make it known we was not intimated. This incessant starring would also happen in the main lobby bar. And this is not an exaggeration and would often be a disappointing to end the day. Theres people watching but this is next level arrogance. As part of our Ultra All Inclusive package branded drinks are included, however you will need to jostle with staff to ensure you get them and on some occasions (Aspendos Bar) they dont stock branded liquor and you are required to have the alternative, while not a show stopper its still part of the package. The outdoor heated pool is a nice chilled area, pool is at a reasonable temperature (but not bath temperature lol). There is no drinks service around the pool again not a massive issue but is expected at a 5 star hotel, there is a drinks service though behind the loungers at the seating area. The Time Out bar in vicinity of the heated pool is fantastic. Firstly, the staff within this area are first-class. Their application to their job was exceptional (other staff could do with taking a leaf out of their book). The only issue is the snack bar opens at 1430 with Pizza, Burgers, Chips and other options, we thought it would be better opening around 1230/1330 as 1430 seemed late. The chefs would accommodate my two fussy boys and bake them a margarita pizza which was a blessing as the boys would tend not to participate in the options available in the main foodhall. Saadet was wonderful at her job very pleasant, friendly and only after a few days knew our drinks order and always greeted with a hello and a smile. The cleaner who would service the top floor rooms 1750+ was fantastic. Her attention to detail was exceptional and very trustworthy, we left numerous items out and they remained throughout the holiday. She deserves some recognition for her services, well done this lady! The Aspendos Hall was the main venue for the evening entertainment. A nice enough area however, the bar is very basic with NO international branded drinks whatsoever. The entertainment varied throughout our stay and unfortunately on occasion they cancelled the billed entertainment with no notice, for example the bingo evening was cancelled which was a shame, as the second time they put it on it was a great laugh. Unfortunately, once the billed entertainment had concluded at 2200 there was a 'DJ' however, this was just a guy at the computer putting on random songs and would only last 30/45 minutes. There is a disco that opens at 2300 but this is hit and miss when it opens and staff often requested a whip around for those staff opening the venue, very odd! On our last evening the entertainment was a one man band and this gentleman was fantastic as great way to end the holiday. The Lobby bar is a nice setting but seating is a a premium in the evening, a very laid back space with the occasional Piano player or violin player etc. It was at this bar we realised early in to the holiday at this bar that in order to get a faster service it is wise to tip the staff. For large portions of the evening we were required to go the bar ourselves to get our drinks as staff would purposely pass our table and this was due to the large number of German guests tipping at will. Whereas tipping is something we do near the end for staff who have been welcoming and gone above and beyond. The beach area due to the winter period we didnt frequent daily but beds were plentiful however, I can not comment of the service there. For kids there is a mini club but more suited to under 9's. For those 10+ there is little to no entertainment. There are a number (3) of ping-pong tables scattered around the facility and this was just noticed by chance. A games room is available from 1630-2300 with a small number of arcade machines, pool, Playstation and bowling, however, only the pool table is free all other units require the purchase of tokens and are not included even in the Ultra All Inclusive. The hotel boasts its own in-house turkish bath and steam room etc however, a word of caution; if you are Ultra All Inclusive the use of these facilities are free but they will lavish you with products and hit you with an extortionate bill, around €80/90 for a 30min Turkish bath and 30min massage (best to look outside). There were people walking around arranging treatments but throughout our stay we was not approached. Finally, the mattress in the room was terrible, most springs could be felt and was uneven in places, even when exhausted sleep was difficult to achieve due to the poor mattress. We enjoyed our family time but we wouldnt stay at this hotel again. This hotel has the potential but lacks that cutting edge!…
