After visiting Kalkan 2 years ago and falling in ,love with the place, we knew we would return. Stunning views, beautiful harbour, authentic, cultured, peaceful and serene with plenty to do. Its called the St. Tropez of Turkey for a reason. Plenty of top class upmarket restuarants along the harbour; slightly more pricey but worth it as well as family...

We have stayed at the Pirat a number of times and we see improvements every time we come. This is a 3 star hotel but the rooms have been renovated and the bathrooms are being done this year. The hotel is right on the harbour and has fantastic views. It is ideally situated for all the restaurants, bars and shops...

We stayed for 2 weeks in June 2012 in a triple room on the poolside of the hotel. Lovely views from balcony overlooking marina. The position of this hotel is probably the best in Kalkan as you are not constantly going up and down the hilly roads. The best restaurants are only a stones throw away. We recommend staying at...

This hotel was booked for us by Headwater holidays for the final night of our 7 day walking holiday along the Lycian Way. As it was our wedding anniversary we opted for the upgrade to a suite - an extra £70. After an mix up with the booking was sorted out with Headwater and the manager we were shown to...

We stayed in Hotel Pirat in September 2012. They have very nice pool and an awesome bar, but not enough beds to lay, so we had to come early to get a good spot. Our room had a nice view, but the room itself was not the best. It was average and I we certainly did not like the bathroom....

I visited the Pirat with my boyfriend in September of 2012. We stayed for one week half board, although did not have in the hotel for dinner during our stay due to being part of a large family group who were staying in self catered accommodation and eating in the restaurants in the town. Our room at the Pirat was...

Hotel Pirat is situated in a beautiful area of Kalkan, right beside the quaint harbour and only yards away from the numerous restaurants scattered alongside the seafront. To reach the hotel proper it is necessary to climb several flights of open-fronted steps, though the reception is in a separate annex on the other side of the road, where you will...

Just enjoyed 5 nights at this good hotel. The staff are so hard working and welcoming. Food is good and plentiful. Agree with previous comment, hair salon good value, had a really nice cut and blow dry. Weather changeable but managed to squeeze 1.5 days on the beach. Last visited Turkey (and this area) in 1988 and although Kalkan has...
