after looking at the good reviews on TripAdvisor i booked for Xmas and New Year. boy was i wrong. the place has 9 stories but had only 100 people in it. no entertainment to speak of, no Xmas dinner and no gala dinner. it was just another day. the food was only for locals who descended on the hotel for the new year gala. these people would be gone on the 1st January. i am giving it 3* as the hotel is beautiful and the staff are really friendly. when i complained about the entertainment and no games, i was told "it is winter" and they were surprised when i told them the Lara Beach hotels had everything (animation teams special gala meals for both Xmas and new year) i was even attacked by a glass door that closed on me when leaving the restaurant. it had me trapped and ended up bruised. i got a "get well soon" card and a plate of fruit for my pain. on day 3, i gave up and booked an early flight home. i would have stayed and ate out but all inclusive hotels have killed off the restaurants and can serve whatever swill they want. the only thing that kept me going, till my flight, was McDonalds and Burger King as they were close and were the only eating places around. i will not be going back to Antalya!…
The experience me and my family had at the Megasaray westbeach was special the 2 men that attended To us from day 1 was amazing they went over and above to keep us entertained helped us with everything we needed and so much more Kubilay made me and my family we absolutely feel in love with him And then we meet Deniz and he was also absolutely amazing these two young men are amazing and I have already recommended family and friends yo come to megasaray because of the service and care these men provided us and can not wait to come back Nabil laoulach
A 3 night stay with friends over xmas which left us all feeling let down by the total lack of entertainment. A big plus to the staff who were all cheerful and helpful and another big plus to the quality and choice of available alcoholic drinks in the Lobby Bar. The food albeit plentiful was mediocre in quality and not hot enough. The a la carte restaurant was closed for the winter period. Rooms were dated and not insulated enough as we could clearly here both our neighbours coughing, talking and shower taking. We spoke to many of our fellow guests who all agreed that no effort was put into providing some kind of xmas programme and would not return. Having spent the last 5 years in this area I can say that the Limak Lara, Limak Atlantis. Calista, and especially the Liberty Lara knock the spots off this place for entertainment with their nightly live bands,, dance acts magic shows, organised walks and various daily activities. We had 3 nights of dull piped music in the only bar available.Come for a quiet break otherwise avoid.…
Room has dilapidated wallpaper, dirty looking floor and towels. The room is not well maintained and not well lighted. The two young receptionists were rude and very unprofessional. Upon check-in, the curly haired receptionist did not provide the details of "all-inclusive" benefits. There were no bellboys upon checkin. The hotel should not be named as a 5 star hotel. The quality of service and rooms was subpar. The quality of service at the Crowne Plaza Antalya was way way better.
Very nice hotel, All Staff are very friendly and helpful from reception to bar to restaurant. They made the atmosphere in the hotel very relaxed and pleasant. Food in the restaurant is high quality with lots of variation. There are performer that play in the hotel every night performing different acts from live music to belly dancing. You could spend your whole holiday in the hotel alone. Would definitely recommend this venue if holidaying in antalya. Directly across from the beach front. Beautiful views of the ocean to wake up to and the city’s light to go to sleep to. 10/10 best Entertainer is Kubi! Look out for him!
We are in love with this hotel , our stay is amazing the location is unbelievable, great location magical view , the staff is so professional and the service is great and fast , the food in turkey is tasty but in mega saray the food is out of standing , special thanks for Mrs Batool from guest relation , for making our stay amazing ,highly recommend hotel
The hotel was good, ,Reception staff were profesional. The meal were tasty and vaious. drinks have good quality But some staff should be trained more, the lady from loby bar, as İ remember Aysegul, ,never smile, little bit agressive, treat some staff in rude way, sometime she was mean. Hope the hotel management will imrove this flaw. Anyway we hope to come in new year
Excellent hotel with awesome, all-inclusive meals! Comfortable rooms, helpful staff, great hamam with pool, steam room and sauna. Located right at the sea. Lively location. Just far from old Town and marina.
At the hotel we arrived at 3am. We traveled with car so we arrived a bit earlier than expected. At the reception we were greated by a man that asked us to pay 107€ for is to be able to get the last available room in the hotel, he said it’s hotel’s policy. I told him that i wouldn’t pay 100€ for only 4 hours. At this moment he changed his face from kind to extremely rude and said several times: “Madam i can’t help you if you don’t pay me.” As he realized that i don’t plan on paying extra i asked him if i am allowed to sit and wait in the lobby till i was supposed to get my room. “Yes, it’s allowed.” We sat at one sofa at the end of the lobby so we don’t disturb anyone. After only 5 minutes they turned on al the lights in the lobby, as if it wasn’t enough the receptionist ordered one little boy to start cleaning the floor with machine (the floors were regularly cleaned every morning at 7am). OK! We went to the lobby bar, there were people drinking and having fun. When everyone of them left, the bar was cleaned and the barmen turned off the lights and left us to rest a little bit, so thankful to the barmen. For the unwelcoming to be much worse we were given room at the first floor just above the music station from the lobby bar, even though i asked the woman receptionist to give me just quiet room and nothing else. I don’t know how to put this in other words, this was everything, BUT it wasn’t Turkish hospitality. For a hotel with 5 stars something is not right. And yes, i have stayed in 18 hotels around Antalya. Very tasty food, great drinks, beautiful beach, but there isn’t a place to have fun as water slides, also very nasty towels (they are everything but clean white). This is mu impression of Megasaray.…
For Business in Antalya, Company booked bit disappointing Apartment, so when I had 3 Days off i booked myself Ultra All Inclusive in Megasaray Westbeach. First impression was good, Room wasn't ready but Lunch already about to be served so very good time to experience the variety while waiting. To make it short, if you find something that wasn't there tell me because I saw so much food options that i doubt someone cannot be satisfied .and that's Lunch. For Food options you have regular Breakfast Long sleeper Breakfast Lunch Snack bar Food court Patisserie Dinner Midnight Snack that together with several Bars and outlets to satisfy "liquid" needs. Room was ready, first impression of Hallway and Room was a bit old but still classy, reminded me of an old Marriott or Hilton. there's definitely a touch up necessary, also for wood and Paint, but overall tidy and clean, did my tests with cloths and couldn't find anything. Minibar full, Seaview nice. Pools are all clean and have no big restauration to be done, no tiles missing etc. Private Pool is 5 minutes by foot or 2 minutes by Bus which runs on schedule. Overall Decision is, I will recommend it and yes i will go back. Now last but not least, let me say a big thank you to the People working there. All very kind, polite and helpful and i assume in an All-inclusive is this , difficult. reception is fine and helpful waiters help and try to get you going as soon as possible. Spa and wellness Ladies, thank you for nice reception and special thanks to the nice Balinese Lady, rubbing and scrubbing arms and legs in the Hamam to then make me sleep while getting a Oil massage, thank you. Mohammed thanks for recommendation. Guset relations, in Person Elzat and Batool. Thank you, Ladies, for recognizing my complain and for the nice complimentary Narghile /hookah /Sisha, which I can recommend but I would say 20 Euros regular price is quite steep ,i would say 13-15 Euros is fair. Quality is very nice. So Elzat ,Batool thank you and everyone in this nice "Oldie but Goldie"......I will be back!!! …
