We spent the first three nights of our honeymoon at Tenta Nakara, and enjoyed the feeling of being far away from the bustle of cities. We also went on several excursions with their long tail boats, which included swimming at remote locations and seeing the "James Bond Island". The staff was very friendly and helpful. Be aware that since there...

I've been there last November. I spent 2 nights honeymoon.. It was really amazing and very peaceful living in such a place with the sound of nature only.. The food tasted nice but extra expensive.. Arrange the transportation with hotel wile reserving. Value for money. Don't spend more than 2 nights as it will get boring because no activities to...

Tenta Nakara was our second stop while visiting Thailand. We arrived there from Bangkok and departed to Phuket following our stay. After visiting all three locations, Tenta Nakara was BY FAR our favorite and we found ourselves wanting to go back even once in Phuket. The seclusion and beauty of the resort is complemented by the friendly/helpful staff, the great...

transportation from ao por pier to the hotel and vice versa costs 1200 baht (=28-30 euro) fairly expensive! and from phuket intl. airport to ao por pier costs an additional amount of 600 baht. During our stay (2 nights during march 2014) the sea was rough and windy to swim and sometimes dirty due to the currents. The staff was...

Tenta Nakara is perfect for a chill out holiday.....thatched roof tents on stilts (to stop those snakes entering....and there are snakes, we saw some!), no electricity or hot running water. Yet this 3 day stopover was the best part of our Phuket holiday. The kids loved walking from the restaurant at night with the oil lantern, trying to spot the...

This is the first place we stayed at in Thailand. It was a wonderful place to relax and escape from city life. Stunning secluded beach to relax. Staff were very friendly and food was great. This is not the place if you are looking to party, but you would be mistaken to give it a miss. A must place to...

We loved it at Tenta Nakara! So beautiful and peaceful! Our 'tented accomodation' was fabulous! We slept every night with just the mosquito guards feeling the breeze blow over us and listening to the sounds of nature! We awoke to the birds singing and a beautiful view the minute we opened our eyes! No electricity meant no hair dryers &...

and you long for some peace and quiet, this is where you want to be. Unplug from the trappings of civilization, if you dare. Stare out into the bay and the limestone formations. Watch the sunrise from your tent. Listen to the waves and the cicadas (or crickets?) as you fall asleep. All worries melt away. Tent B13 was perfect,...

As they say Tenta Nakara is not for everyone, but if you are looking for a secluded, back-to-nature kind of a holiday, this is the place to be. There is no electricity in the tent-bungalow-rooms (it is provided by a generator in the restaurant area only from 5 to 10 pm), no AC either and the running water is not...
