You could enjoy staying here, it all depends what you are looking for! For us, a young couple looking to see a different side to Thailand, this was just right. We booked to stay on the island for 3 days with no expectations. We wanted the remoteness more than anything and that is what you get. Our flight landed in...

I would definitely head back there because it feels like home. Location : 15 mins boat ride from Chalong Pier. The resort : Beautiful. Peaceful. Clean. The people : Amazing - the owners & Num who gladly help with everything we requested for. He never fails to put on a smile. This is truly service from the heart. :) Food...

Friendly staff but food and drink prices will break the bank. Took an hour for most meals to arrive which is difficult with kids in tow. Massage way too expensive compared to normal Thai prices, and don't think she's qualified. Beach is passable during high tide and you face the busy Chalong harbor, so it didn't really feel like we...

We are really disappointed, the pictures shown on trip advisor and the website do not reflect the reality. The furniture and bedding are old, not comfortable, should be replaced. The cooling system in the rooms is noisy, so resting or sleeping is quite impossible. If turned off you have to suffer the heat because there is no isolation in the...

Don't expect 5 star as this resort is for those seeking peace, tranquility and personal service. Food is cooked fresh when you order and you don't need any money until you leave at the end of your stay. Everything can be charged to your room and just ask for anything that you want. The staff can usually arrange everything within reason...

After our first visit in February, we decided to return to Baan Mai to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We chose Baan Mai because it is a small secluded island resort just south of Phuket. As other reviewers have stated, if you want sterile luxury or if you cannot handle wildlife, then this place is not for you. However, if you...

This is our ideal place to stay. Loved the huts on the beach. The very rustic pool was clean and refreshing. Had to walk up the beach a couple of hundred metres to find a place with sand and no rocks, my husband got sick will we were here and the ladies arranged medicene to be bought over from Phuket....

We stayed 3 days just before New year in 2014. It was wonderful, peaceful and such lovely ladies in charger of it. No luxuries, but that was ok as we just wanted pure nature heaven and got it! Simple but just what we wanted, food was excellent and just so friendly!

We weren't lucky with the weather but it didn't really matter because it was such a relaxing place to stay. The beachside bungalows were delightful. Small and dark but with lovely outdoor bathrooms. We had our own plastic lounges on the beach just in front of the bungalow, and table and chairs on the verandah. Remember to take your own...

My husband & I visited these "cabins" in February when they were not very busy, but still got horrific service! We have traveled all over the world & are very easy going people that have NEVER given a bad review, but this place was awful! Once they have you stuck on their trashy island they nickel & dime you to...
