Terrible! We checked in (that alone should have tipped us off, so slow, unable to pay with card due to issues)… Eventually we were taken to our room, past the pool, which, whilst not green, was cloudy. As a pool owner, I know how heathy water looks, and I would not have swam in that. We arrived at our room, to find a large gap in between the door and frame (hello mosquitoes), and the most uncomfortable, hard bed, you could feel every spring. We decided not to stay within about 2 minutes of arriving, and returned to reception. As I had booked online, they would not process a full refund, but after some disagreement, they did agree to refund all except the commission paid to the website. Given that they had misrepresented their hotel online, I’m not sure this was fair, but was worth it to get out of there. 0 stars, would not recommend to anyone. Fortunately, we found a much nicer, and cheaper hotel pretty much next door.

The bed was like a rock. It took me 4 days to get use to it. Free breakfast coupons were given to me. But they the breakfast was not free. After a couple of days they finally told me it was not free and had to pay for it. I agreed to pay the day they told prior to ordering food. They told me I was good. Then when I went to check out they tried to charge me for the days I did not know it was not included. They did not charge me for the breakfast. But still kind of shady way to get charged for a simple breakfast that was suppose to be free. Thanks I may visit and stay again, but not sure.

We only had two nights at this hotel and had no running water for 12 hours! This included being able to use the toilet or sink, when it was finally fixed the flow was very poor. Rooms are very dated, dark, shower was dirty and had a clump of the previous persons hair in the tray, the pool is nice but there were only 7 sun beds! the grounds of this hotel are very pretty but I’m afraid I would not recommend it to anyone ☹️ really disappointed

Fantastic bungalows with comfy beds and great amenities. The staff are friendly and the grounds are beautiful. 5 min walk from kata beach with a 7/11 very close too. You will need bug spray as the natural gardens obv are a haven for mozzies lol

Clean room, with AC, shower, small fridge and free drinking water every day. Kind staff, especially to our 3year old daughter. Close to Karon beach, walking distance. Nevertheless I have to mention that breakfast not very satisfying - always missing some glasses, plates or even food. Not very wide choice of food too. We didn't enjoy the dinner either, not very tasty, not even thai food. We experienced also two suprises: - laundry is about 4 times more expensive than average - reception woke my whole family up at MIDNIGHT asking what time we will check out. (Manager apologized later in the morning when we complained).

I was so pleased to find this beautiful hotel and my room is gorgeous. Staff are friendly and everything is lovely. Except! At night, there is a band mistreating the classics and it's impossible to sleep. Plus the aircon unit is also super loud. However, as soon as I mentioned it the very friendly staff agreed to move me to a quieter room. I'd def come back.

This is a lovely cultural hotel set in gardens between kata and karon beaches. With one or two tweaks they could improve on customer service Because there is a band that plays most nights on front I was upgraded to a room with kitchen, but, no knives, forks, pots or pans. Pool, would be great if staff took leaves out before customers appeared and tidied up around pool area clean sun beds and either turn up mattresses at night or store them in a dry place, everyday I sat on them I was wet through, even before I went in the water. Breakfast was disappointing. Having been in so many hotels in karon, kata and koh lak over the years I expected the same standard. Whilst the fruit was lovely, there was only corn flakes8 and no yoghurt. Coffee was weak and tasted like it had been overheated. Coffee machines are visible in most Thai hotels in every resort. Nice to have a choice if wholegrain bread too. It could be me being fussy, but, I've always had good service in hotels at such a high standard. TV, do not watch a lot, but, when I did, no signal, they would be served better if they had a signal booster. I trust this will benefit both the hotel and other travellers. I did drop a cup on the floor, they were very quick to put an invoice through my door for 200Bart's, 5 pounds!!!! You could buy two cups for that in the UK. If you book, there will be many steps to and from your room, every day, you may like the exercise in 30 degrees.

My partner and I stayed at kata Gardens for 10 nights and if we ever came back to phuket would happily stay here again. We didn't want a huge resort and this place ticked all the boxes: excellent location, quiet, had a pool, helpful staff and nice garden setting. Its a 10 min walk to both kata and karon beaches and lots of restaurants, shops close by. Glad we opted to stay close to kata beach as we felt this was the nicest beach after visiting many during our stay.
