We had a confirmed booking at Salathai for 14 nights from 25/9/15, imagine our surprise when we arrived to find the resort a demolition site. We knew the hotel was closing but had been assured by management that it wasn't going to happen until after Christmas, any way we asked the taxi driver to take us to "The Nap" hotel...

Patong is a lively area, it's never sleep. There are so many bars and restaurants. However, stay here make me feel relax. I like the sense of Thai and welcoming of this hotel. Although it is not quite new, my room is clean and comfortable. The staffs are also nice and friendly. Recommended

I had a last minute stop over in Patong with some friends who were staying at the resort. We did not make a booking but the reception was kind enough to offer us a room for 3 people for the night. I did find Bath3000 rather expensive seeing that we did not get any sense of our moneys value in...

Sad to hear that this hidden gem is being demolished. Best wishes to Sunny and all the other fabulous staff who have looked after me so well on my numerous visits. The swimming pool was a wonderful oasis in the heart of Patong.

Was once an oasis. Lovely helpful friendly staff. However I was misled by hotel when booking months previously. They did not advise hotel was being demolished. After I heard on grapevine about closure and questioned them I was told I would be transferred to the Nap which I was OK with. Then I received Email to advise stay in Salathai...

Resort is smaller than most and located 10 minutes north of the busier parts of Patong. Pool is nice and rooms are functional but clean. Staff are very friendly and the restaurant does superb steak sandwiches! This is a resort aimed at more budget-minded travellers. It is clean, comfortable and friendly. Recommended.

Sadly this is going to be pulled down, such a shame they call it progress, the block next to the hotel has already gone , but the hotel is now got an extension to stay open until next March, we have been told they are starting pilling next month , the hotel has served us well over the 12 years...

This place is a little gem in the hustle and bustle of Patong and I have stayed on numerous occasions. I was looking to book again next year and have found out it is being pulled down, what a shame. In such a good location, only a block away from Bangla Road but far enough so you don't have the...

Our second stay here as it is just a little oasis so close to everything in Patong. Everything about the hotel is awesome from the rooms to the gardens and swimming pool and the restaurant. The best thing about the place though is the staff. They are so caring and great to their guests. Unfortunately the place is being torn...
