The welcome drink at this hotel was very delicious. There was a tour desk in the hotel lobby offering activities like visiting James Bond Island and Phi Phi Island, with extremely reasonable prices and high-quality tours.
The layout of the Deluxe Garden room, where the shower, bathtub, and toilet were located before the main room, was very interesting and gave guests a great sense of comfort, especially after swimming in the pool. This hotel was truly exceptional.
Thank you so much for your hospitality and buggy service!
3 great pools but a distinct lack of parasols around the main pool, even extending to the 7 around the bar area for eating snacks, 5 of which where broken and severely damaged !, sun loungers and tables are dirty, the loungers covered up by the well worn cushions which also need replacing. Several notices around the pool clearly state no smoking allowed this is for designated areas only, but this is often ignored, as are the signs saying the lifebelts are for emergency use only ! Many guests use them as toys and discard them in the pool after use, WHY doesn't the management crack down on this poor selfish behaviour!!. Ten years ago management would be seen constantly walking around maintaining standards WHY HAS THIS STOPPED .
Hotel main dining area is currently being refurbished but temporary dining facilities are extremely busy, so why not extend breakfast dining hours to ease the mad rush? , poor food in general , only the freshly made omelettes are worth eating . There are new water slides ( Already looking shabby due to the slide supports and structures rusting in the first year of it being open and already one slide out of action ) A childrens play area has also been added.
So, a considerable amount of money is being spent but surely get the basics right first!!!
Rooms are of a decent size but in need of refurbishment ( our bath was heavily pitted) ,television choice is very poor, surely its not to much to ask for perhaps a few channels showing something other than news ! Yes you are on holiday and will be out and about but it would be nice to be able to watch something during the odd early night , or night in .
Maid service is excellent.
The old towel service of return and replace has been changed to a free for all which just encourages the selfish guests to simply leave them on sunbeds so these beds become "reserved " and towels are left all over the resort outside rooms on walkways etc leaving the overworked maids to take up the slack since the pool attendant role was made redundant, another poor management decision.
We have been to this resort many many times and it is so sad to see its decline, I only hope someone in authority reads this review and takes it on board, stop with the high cost vanity projects and go back to basics first before you totally ruin a true gem !!
Regarding the hotel itself:
The location is good, you can enjoy the silence, and if you want to immerse yourself in a party, then all you have to do is leave the hotel.
Large area, which is an incomparable advantage compared to other hotels in Patong. A bonus to this is the silence on the territory, several large swimming pools and even several water slides.
There are very few trash cans on the hotel premises. I was even surprised.
The staff, I wouldn’t say, are friendly, but they aren’t rude either.
Breakfast is very ordinary.
The bungalows are in need of renovation.
Regarding the silence on the territory itself: audibility in the bungalow is excellent and if you have “cheerful” neighbors, then you will be forced to have fun with them. I was lucky; talkative neighbors who loved to sit outside their bungalow and chat loudly at night were 4 bungalows away from me. Here the air conditioner came to the rescue, blocking the sounds with its even hum (not weak).
So a noisy air conditioner is sometimes a plus rather than a minus.
In general, it’s a completely normal hotel with its pros and cons, so I’ll probably stay there again.

Big mistake!
Things started to go wrong at the reception itself. They couldn’t find my reservation, and very cooly told me to book again (at their rack rate) and they’ll refund me the money IF they find my reservation. They found it after I spent 2 hours passing messages between Agoda and them. There were other red flags too – they demanded a 3000 Baht safety deposit, in cash, and then started handing out wifi codes with 3 device limitation (hello 90s!) etc. Later I found you need a coupon to get towels near the swimming pool, that they tell you nothing about during check-in, so you have to trek all the way to reception again in your swim trunks.
The property has aged badly. Forget the bonkers design where you enter the room through the bathroom – it was always there just feels worse now when it feels ready to fall apart – other aspects are plain exasperating. There were NO charging points in the room. We unplugged two of their lampshades to charge our phones. My son has a desktop monitor larger than the TV they provide in the room. The sleeping mattress was the hardest I have ever slept. The bathroom rarely worked or were not aligned so they continued leaking. I had rented two rooms so I have a sample size of more than one.
Elsewhere, their much advertised pool with three water slides wasn’t working. Not being closed for renovated or repaired – simply not working. The same place where you have to provide a coupon to be able to borrow 2 towels per room.
I am not sure how they manage to get a 5 Star rating. They don’t have a business center. The breakfast spread is quite limited.
But beyond all this, the most disappointing thing is their service. Like in the case of the business center. I asked. They don’t have. No attempt to find out why I needed one. Just don’t have. This is how they roll for most things.
Though they did give me a free plate of fruits for my troubles in checking in!
The morning shift staff were very rude, especially the front desk lady on the left side of the reception on 15 Dec 2024 (12:50pm). She had no manners during checkout and said "go write your comments and my name on Google".
They force you to pay a deposit of THB 3000 even if you don't need a minibar or anything, and they don't accept it in credit card, they want it in cash, which is surprising because they can hold that amount on credit card.
They force you to pay for kids'breakfast (THB 650 period child below 10 years) even if you don't want breakfast for Adults and your kids. The breakfast is the worst breakfast that you'll find with mainly Thaifood, no turkey, no salmon and the egg is hidden outside making it difficult to reach with the queue. They empty everything by 10 am and won't allow you to take anything outside the breakfast hall.
If you lose the room card, they will charge you THB 200, where in other hotels, it's free. If you lose the pool paper voucher, they will charge you THB 1000, which we have never seen in any other hotels in our past 10 trips to Phuket.
They will charge you THB 500 if you ask to extend the checkout by each hour. Usually, other 5 start hotels are flexible and give even 2 hours free.
They charge you THB 200 if you want to take one of the room's slipper, which is free in even the 2 star hotels.
The TV in the suite room is very small, maybe 32" while the room needs at least 55" based on its size.
They give you wifi access for 3 devices only! Which is ridiculous, when they know you sre a pax of 4.
The hotel manager is hiding in the back, and the staff are scared of him, and hesitate to even call him, saying they have to follow strict policy.
In my honest opinion, this hotel is no more than an old 3 star hotel, so don't be tricked by the online hotel rating. To summarize, it has bad service, bad food, bad beds and will never come again or recommend it.
1. Reservation team never reply you on emails, you have to call them 3-4 times and then they reply you on email.
2. Everything is chargeable there for example extra water, tea, coffee.
3. When we checked in we never provided with toiletries, extra towel, tooth brush, shaving kit, we had to call 3 times to have all those things.
4. We were provided with used bathroom slippers and used shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, i had to call 4 times to get the new ones.
5. No mosquito repellent were provided to us. And weighing scale and iron also was not provided to us.
6. During breakfast, you are not at all allowed to to take anything from there to room like butter for baby.
7. Staff is really rude and no smile on staff face and they talk really rudely to you.
8. In Pool bar, you have to pay the cash and if you dont carry your cash or card you will be denied for drink. I really had to beg them to get the drink and will pay you in an hr once i go to my room.
9. For checkout, my flight was in late eve amd i asked for checkout at 3pm which they denied, even though hotel was not even half booked.
10. At the time of checkout, you not greeted well like thank you for the stay or something something.
I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Such a horrible experience i had.
Moreover, they charged us for not finding the accurate number of cups and saucers in the room on checkout. Even after explaining multiple times that the crockery had been kept outside the room for takeaway, they refused to believe us and created issues with the intention of extracting money. Charges were levied for very small things which is not expected. No cooperation was extended for the two kids we were travelling with.
The rooms are designed in such a way that the bathroom comes first. The rooms we had booked were not available on check in, so different rooms were allotted. Terrible design, terrible service, totally uncooperative staff and all they want is to make money on every little thing.
hanging on it. The sink edge was sticky. After the pandemic, when I travel, I always bring some wipes with me, to clean the room where I stay. I couldn't remove the stickiness around the sink with the wipes. Standard supplies for a hotel room are Q-tips, shower hair covers, hand lotions and bar hand soaps. Some hotels, they even have a couple of toothbrushes for tourists. This cheap hotel only had two bar hand soaps next to the sink. They gave me a room with a dirty toilet. I could see dry, yellow urine was sitting on the toilet bowl. I needed to use the toilet, but I had to use my wipes to clean top of the seat, toilet bowl, seat cover and even the toilet handle before I could use it.
I told myself, this is it. I went to the reception to tell about the conditions of the room asked for check out and a refund of the money. She didn't even offer me a cleaner room, or mentioned anything about the refund. I booked this trip through a tour company name Charming Holidays. There must be some financial arrangement between both of them. My room was a Deluxe Garden Wing. Cleanliness, services are horrible. I will give this hotel zero points.
