3 Standard Rooms booked over 7 nights. Rooms in desperate need to renovation. Bathrooms dated and drains were intermittently bellowing a nasty sewer smell. Experienced in all rooms. Air conditioning - too cold. We asked for another duvet. Thermostat not working in two of the three rooms.
Holiday Inn was a cut above the rest in the area, with those extra touches of quality that you don’t get everywhere. Great for kids with kids club and pool and family rooms with PlayStations. Excellent breakfast and food options, best we’ve had in Phuket. Location is perfect, right on beach and near many shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay again, highly recommend!
Coming down south from the peace and tranquility of Natai beach, we were not sure what to expect here given the hustle and bustle of Patong. It's our first time staying at Holiday Inn (standard room 607) and have to say we were pleasantly surprised. This is a big hotel establishment and despite a stone's throw away from the main street and beach, it was relatively quiet. Location is great as it is practically at the beginning or end of the main street depending on which side your are coming from. I believe the rooms were recently renovated as it looked relatively new and modern, spacious, clean and neat and good value for what we paid. Bedding was comfortable as we slept well and housekeeping was prompt and meticulous and very generous with our request for bottled water. Toiletries were of good quality that my partner love it so much that after checking with the front desk, she purchased two bottles of the shampoo and conditioner. For us, breakfast at the Seabreeze restaurant is a must try with its delectable and generous selection of Asian and western cuisines. We may have overlooked it as air conditioning seemed to be centrally operated as our room was too cold and we were unable to manage the control resulting in us having to intermittently switching the a/c on and off. Also felt the soundproofing can be improved as at times in the morning, noises can be heard along the corridor and housekeepers going about their work in the adjacent rooms. Having said, these are minor inconveniences. For those looking to party, shop, beach-out and activities in the vicinity, but at the same time not too loud and rowdy, Holiday Inn is a good option. It was a pleasant stay and should we come back to Patong for a HOLIDAY again, the INN will be foremost in our minds.…
I booked a transfer from the JW Marriott resort spa & resort to the holiday inn Patong. For 2000 bath I expected a better transfer. The driver was ok but didn’t say much, there was a plastic shield between the driver and behind. It is a 1 hour drive but no water or wet towels were offered. Just nothing. Compared to the transfer I got from the Phulay bay this was very poor. Check in was ok. Thanks for the fruit basket! I had a premium room with swimming pool. The room was ok, no bath but a big shower. Best of the room was the view of the swimming pool. That was wonderful! There are several great swimming pools in the hotel. I loved the pools. Great cleaning service of the pools also! The hotel grounds were a lot bigger than expected and it has a great location right central in Patong. The prices in the restaurants are good and they also have happy hours with great tasting cocktails. The employees are friendly. If you want stay right in Patong I think this is the best choice. It has a relaxed feel inside the hotel.…
Perfect location and a very spacious and comfortable Hotel. Extremely friendly staff. Loved how comfortable the beds were. It was my first time to Thailand and my friends recommended the Holiday Inn as they keep coming back, and so will I. Clayton G.
Our second time visiting and we’ll be back again. The location is great (literally you can just walk across the road onto the beach from the pool). Very child/ kid friendly (special kids breakfast buffet area, well kept kids Club with 2 XBox, staff attentive to kids needs, etc.).
The stay in the Holiday Inn Hotel was great, comfortable and relaxing .. We were exploring to enjoy traditional authentic Thai food.. Tried a few restaurants out at paying.. it was just not authentic.. Then we came across Chef Pittahaya in the hotel.. The food was excellent, sumptuous, traditional and authentic… we all enjoyed the food and want to try again the next day!!!
Best Holiday Ever. Best Staff. Cleanest resort I have been too. Food was excellent. Pool is magnificent. Resort is close to most things you will need like massage parlous, food from external restaurants and all the shopping kiosks
Great location, facilities, cleanliness, all the expected Thai friendliness can be found here. Our stay was at the older wing which was more economical for us but still very pleasant and we would still highly recommend it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the happy hour drinks.
We stayed here for 5 days, location cannot be better right in the Patong beach. Good property, clean nice resort. Breakfast needs improvement with menu and dishes. Rest all was good. Will stay again for sure.
