Coconut village is really a great place to stay. For two young girls traveling alone they really took good care of us, even when our flight back to South Africa only left at 23:45 they made sure all our bags were safe when we had to check out of the room but, we could still use there facilities. They're situated close to everything but just far enough not hear all the music! We loved all the Thai people, it's true what they say it's a smiling country! They will definitely see us again!

The hotel is very run down and in need of a lot of tlc throughout !! We had a deluxe room and we were never bitten so badly as we did in this hotel mosquitos everywhere ! We also had an interconnecting door between us and other guests and walls very thin 🤷‍♀️ Outside our room door the smell was horrific pungent drain smell. The bathroom was old and dirty and yet the cleaner was so lovely and done a great job everything tired and stained. Restaurant is basic and we were seated in a table where the glass top was cracked from side to side. Food basic and not much choice. Pool not great not enough sun beds for the guests and pool was discoloured on every other day. Staff on reception were ok but security guard was so lovely and helpful. To round up our stay I definitely wouldn’t stay here again for 3 weeks and wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all there are much better and cleaner hotels for the same price and cheaper.

When we first arrived at the hotel to clear our isolation and PCR tests they were very helpful. However when we get to our room, the air con is broken and had to have the engineer numerous times and ended up having to replace it. The rooms are very outdated consisting with numerous faults considering that their “Deluxe Rooms” listing with; cracks in the ceiling, vents de-attached from the ceiling, locks were broken on the front door and beneath the bath/shower the tiles were falling off including cracked tiles which were also discoloured. The breakfast is very limited so not ideal for particular eaters or children and when you request for something to be made, rudeness and laziness came from the staff. The bathroom itself is a humongous health and safety hazard, I had injured myself twice whilst getting into the shower as it gets so easily flooded. The first time consists off slipping over and bruising myself, and the second potentially could off been a hospital trip as the glass had smashed (wrong fitted glass as it is not tough fitted) all over my arm and potential harm could off been caused to my partner on the other side. The staff in a result were more concerned about the payment rather than a duty off care and persisted that it was my “own fault” and we’re not considerate despite the bathrooms being so dangerous when flooded. The rooms in addition were a mosquito nest, every night it was consistent with bites and numerous trips to the pharmacy were required as they made me severely ill. The sewage outside off the rooms were so unhygienic as you come out of your room and the smell just quite literally hits you. Furthermore the safe had locked us out 4 times and it was very frustrating as you would put your code in and half an hour later you would be locked out. The cleaners and security guard were the only members off staff that were considered “lovely” people, well mannered and always happy.

Firstly all the staff at the hotel are excellent and very helpful all day long. Check in was easy and quick. We had a pool wing ground room and it was ok, room was nice enough, was cleaned and tidied every day, bugs etc not an issue at all here, spacious, fridge kettle tea & coffee etc. Only issue with the room I’d say was the bathroom we had a deluxe room and the bath/shower combo wasn’t great, bath had stains on as did the walls and the shower wasn’t great either and at times pressure was a problem, but compared to the superior rooms they had great bathrooms so hopefully the deluxe rooms get a bit of an update in time. Only other issue was pool area, could do with more sun beds around but there was plenty of patio chairs around if you couldn’t get a sun bed. Then we noticed the pool getting ‘greener’ you could see over a couple of days the deep end was getting harder to see the bottom and eventually it was clear the pool was going green, was sorted out quickly over 1-2 days not really an issue just had to avoid the pool for 2 days but the pump or filter was broken so they had to get a temporary one in, really wouldn’t put me off coming back here again though it really was a good little find. Great location from main Patong areas and Malin plaza market just 5 min walk away. we paid around £18 a night with breakfast so for that price it’s hard to be too critical considering we paid double last time at a different hotel and not much difference in hotel quality. breakfast was ok, not very big but more than enough. Food and drink at the hotel in general was very fairly priced, maybe even underpriced full size pizza for 150BHT ! definitely consider this hotel if coming to Patong

Stayed here for two weeks January into February 2022. Check in was okay, the staff were helpful in getting a certain app working for the Covid results and status. They were also very helpful in keeping me updated on my first night on the covid test results at the airport. I was given a room on the ground floor and it was just not acceptable. The floor was dirty, the bathroom walls were dirty, it was mosquito infested and there was a frosted glass window in the bathroom which had thousands of dead bugs between the two glass panels. To be fair to the hotel staff, as soon as I complained they moved me to a room upstairs which was very acceptable. But the first room should be offered to nobody until it is cleaned, re-decorated and had those bugs or glass panels removed. Breakfast was good and the eating area was well kept, but I did not get to see breakfast too much anyway. The hotel grounds were okay and the pool is very nice. The staff are nice and friendly and kind. Summing up, a good hotel that could be so much better with just a decent bit of money being spent on upgrading and a coat of paint here and there. Get rid of the stand in the bath showers and replace them with large walk in types.

Stayed here for 7 nights because we had to. The hotel was very run down as is much of Thailand at this time. The room was vey basic, no pictures on the walls or anything. The bathroom sink, toilet and bath had been resealed on many occasion and was in need of replacing. We had a room on the bottom floor with a street view, infact it looked on to a brick wall and the sound from the road was horrendous. We stayed out of the hotel quite a lot but witnessed a lot of shall we say knocking shop antics, I know this is Thailand but it seemed this was the place to bring your friends back, male or female.

This hotel does not deserve even decent rating. Overcharged for anything and everything, you can negotiate on food prices and they always try to charge you 2-3 times more than what the real price is. Dirty rooms dirty dishes through covid pandemic time, defiantly not cleaned properly or sanitized, be careful as this place will definitely get you something… Mold smell from the rooms, pool is green and moldy. Stuff are very rude and unhelpful, every ask takes few hours and faced some sort of argument. Can not recommend this place, stay out of this place at all cost.

We stayed here for 3 nights. First impression was that the hotel grounds were different to the pictures shown as it appears that the landscape is now less green and more concrete. It is a very clean Hotel however and covid aware as there are hand gels and temperature checks on offer in the dining room and front lounge reception. The room was spacious and basic but good value for money. Breakfast was decent for the price with fruits, cereals, toast, croissants and an egg station. The reception staff were excellent and very helpful with regards to booking our covid tests and explaining what was required. The pool was a decent size but there was a rope across it due to the depth so it was difficult to do any serious swimming but it was still cooling and relaxing. The location of the hotel was about a 10 minute walk to the Beach near bars and restaurants which was handy.
