Wow. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Not cheap by any means, but the service surpassed anything we’ve ever had. Our rooms weren’t ready when we arrived (10am), but we were given given vouchers for the restaurant and a drink at the bar. The rooms are huge, and the bathrooms are spotless and well stocked with all you need, ie, razors, toothbrushes, moisturiser and plenty of shampoo and shower gel (top quality products too.) Drinks are expensive, but it’s a 5*, so be prepared to pay a bit extra. It’s built on the side of a steep hill, but there’s a shuttle service that will drop you at your room any time of the day. There’s two pools, spotlessly clean and pool towel service is available. You can also take towels from the hotel reception if you’re going out on trips, no charge. All in all, a wonderful hotel and I would recommend it to anyone. Patong is just a short walk (downhill) if your fit, or just jump a tuk tuk from outside the hotel 200 baht.…
We had the most magical, romantic holiday at this resort. Everyone was absolutely lovely and made sure we always felt completely taken care of. We had a suite overlooking the sea, it was absolutely gorgeous! I had a birthday while we were at the resort and they gave me two cakes! One on arrival and another on the day. So sweet and thoughtful! As the name suggests, though, it is built on a cliff. This means there are a lot of stairs! Probably not the best choice if you have mobility issues.
Thailand is always a go to for some different adventure. Been here many times in the past. It offered some products for business also. This hotel has been my go to since. I have befriended their staff already. It is a good thing that many of them can speak good English. The food is great!!! I love it.
We rented a one bedroom villa, at this Resort. The entire staff from the very bottom to our personal concierge’s Chula and Sarah the staff is outstanding in every single way. We are currently looking at buying our own property in Thailand, based upon our experience with the people and our experiences from ALL of the staff from this resort. I would say, do not miss the opportunity to miss the experience of staying here, yes, there is a lot of walking. Yes, you have support every step of the way, you will feel safe, you will feel appreciated and to be honest there is nothing I wouldn’t do for the staff or the people that work here because they are all amazing.
Everything was on Top Standard. The staff went beyond at all times . Especial to mention the Hotel Manager.. miss Thipwimon , she’s very Accommodating.. incredibly professional. the Hotel was clean and well mentained . The Breakfast was Perfect it has international choices at the Buffet… Definitely come Back on our next Vacation.. Highly recommend 😊 !!!
One of the Best Hotel in Patong , friendly staff ... esp. Miss Ticky 😊 Highly recommend...good Facilities, Best Place to unwind...😊👍 lovely Breakfast .. away from noise .... lovely view every day ...
I loved this hotel for the beautiful view from the window and the unique swimming pools.🥰 Our room was large and cozy with a beautiful bathroom and an exceptional view of the sea. 🌊🌊🌊 The bed was huge and very comfortable and the three of us slept on it together with our daughter. The room had a desk and my husband could work🙏. Melex rides around the resort were a great attraction for my daughter. 👶🥰 One pool had a view of the sea and the sunset and a great paddling pool for children with jacuzzi.🌊👶 The second pool had a wonderful color of water, in the pictures it looked like the Maldives. 🥰🥰 There was also a waterfall and a slide. There was a kids club next door where they even gave popcorn to the kids. 😍The daughter was delighted with the toys and the number of attractions. 🙏❤️ The service was very nice and helpful. The food at the hotel was fantastic. 🥙🥙🥙 We got a voucher to the fruit shop. 🍅🍇🍈🍉🍊The Japanese restaurant served delicious food and had a beautiful decor with a cherry tree inside. There was a very large selection of food at breakfast, something different every day, a lot of food for children and high chairs for children. 👶💪 The hotel was so nice that we didn't want to leave, 😂😂🙈 although there was even a free shuttle to the city. I recommend this place especially to families with children.🥰…
Staff were amazing! We stayed in the diamond suite which was stunning and very clean. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and the pools were kept in a very tidy order! From check in to check out we felt like a highly valued guest!
Diamond Cliff We stayed for 3weeks. - Charged us more for the Hotel, that we were suppost to pay. -Lied to us 2 times in my first 3 days (staff). -Charged me always different price for Daquiry and other drinks. (I didn’t complain about this earlier). But later I started to notice. - Don´t trust the Hotel or hotel staff about price (Taxi, tuk tuk or some trips) those people there are friends with Taxi drivers and will just ripp you off. Use Uber or Grab otherwise you got ripped off. -Noices from the staff all night every god damn night. -My girlfriend parents stayed with us only one day, because of old poor conditions in the building they took one more night at the Hotel because they couldn’t book another one and just got even worst and they left immediately ( DON’T book suite room) you just get the old building. - Water in our room was running very slow and we couldn’t splash the toilet after doing our business. - One time she just walked in while we were sleeping. - ALWAYS SOME GOD DAMN NOICE LIKE SCHOOL BELL all around the hotel. - Always noice… - We stayed for 3weeks and they always change the lunch time starts from 10am, 11am or 12pm they just I don’t know. - Good service, but very slowly with everything around your order (very long wait even nothing to do and you are only one ordering”. - More things that I don’t remember. - And our room had even moist bedsheets even though the housekeeper just changed it. - Cigarettes and ashes on our balcony after few days for like 7days straight (somebody throwing them down. - But the WORST part was when I talked to the manager of the Hotel after our 3weeks stay it was just big fat slap in the face. She just was like she didn´t care, because we were leaving or something like that. Hotel it self is nice just need more love to start fixing the little thing. - It was my first time in Thailand, but when I go there later this year, you can forget that I´m staying there again. - But I have to give the credit to some members of the staff that were really nice and kind. - I didn´t wanna writte this review, but I have been thinking for about last 3months about that slap in the face from the manager of the hotel. …
Whilst this wasn't the worst hotel in the world, there were just way too many problems with it for my liking. Biggest gripe is the steps situation. Far too many of them by far! Although a shuttle service is offered it isn't frequent enough, takes ages to arrive when you call for it, and stops at 23:30 which is ridiculous. The last thing you want coming back from a night out is a 20 minute hike to your room! Staff weren't very helpful. When sick one day they refused to allow my other half to bring me some breakfast back to the room. They could easily have provided something but just weren't interested. Had problems getting into the room as our key cards didn't work initially. Had to get the air con fixed by an engineer. Why have a fruit shop on site but not an actual shop? Jacuzzi was a bit on the small side with two people being quite a squeeze. Bin in room way too small. No late check out offered. Could go on but that's plenty. Was just a really disappointing visit from somewhere that should have been so much better. Would visit Patong again but would stay elsewhere for sure. Try harder Diamond Cliffs!…
