A lovely hotel in the centre of Paradise Plaza. Nice rooms and balconies, we were on the 9th floor overlooking the swimming pool. Clean and well priced. Checkin was choatic, if one person dealt with one guest rather than three people dealing with three guests it would be a lot simpler. We booked a room with a balcony and were initially given a poky little room with no balcony. I do wish hotels would stop trying to make the extra money, it just pisses people of and they are not likely to come back. The noise from the nearby clubs is loud until the music stops - currently at midnight, but pre-COVID it was 2 or 3 am!

Bought a sandbox package including 7 nights, pick up from airport, breakfast and upgraded room. First they gave us a room on the 6 floor but upgraded us to 14 floor (which really is 13 floor) reception called is as soon as the pct test results were ready and we could leave the room. amazing view of Patong and not a lot of noise. Pool area is small but nice. Breakfast is good.

At arrival they make you pay and after ask for cash deposit around 100 US dollar ( I lost 30/50 minutes discussing about the cash I got before I could get them accepting 20 euro ( all cash I got) in order to get the key )
Room and structure is pretty old and not renewed don’t get confused by the photo
Breakfast is pretty cheap not good quality , juice is not fresh fruit is not yeasty
Since I got a early morning ceck our I asked to do the night before to avoid to lose more time in the morning, and again discussion since they don’t do the check out the night before but just when you return they key back to hotel .
I made the check out the morning losing 20 minutes since they did not make the invoice correctly I asked to add company data and they did not changed because where not able to use the system.
Receptionist can not speak good English and don’t understand basic request
Lucky I was just a weekend and not in Holliday over here !
If you are looking for a nice place don’t chose this hotel !!

+1
We had booked a hotel room for 12 days, directly with the hotel on 27/9 2022 and the day before arrival we followed up that the room was ready on 24/2 2023. When we arrived they had rented out the room for 1 more day which meant that we then had to stay in another room until the next day before we could get the booked room, we wasted 12 hours of our holiday. After long conversations, we had to settle for a 6-hour later check out as compensation.
The pool area is newly renovated, but the edges of the pool and stairs are sharp, should be sanded round, got a skin scrape on the stairs. There is a missing handrail on the stairs.
Saturday afternoon 3-7 pm there are 4 hours with a DJ by the pool, where the rooms in the Royal wing cannot be used, due to the loud noise = Bangla Road and they will not turn it down so we can be in the room.
There are many Russians and Asians, which is reflected in the breakfast, where there are many warm/hot dishes and soup. There is only a very small salad bar and only 1 type of cheese and something that should look like a sausage + jam and 4 types of eggs for the Europeans.
The hotel is unable to set the clocks in the rooms (controlled centrally), so they show 35 minutes too much, which must be taken into account when setting the alarm clock in the control panel.
The cleaning staff can speak better English than those employed at the reception.
The furniture is as in the pictures, only that it has been 34 years since it was installed and therefore worn out. Bidet hose leaking they can't fix it, shower head was replaced as it didn't work.
Wardrobe consists of 2 drawers, 10 hangers on a rod and a bookcase where 2 small trolleys can be placed. Therefore, it is not possible to unpack completely when you, like us, are going to stay here for 12 days (currently 7 days have passed) So we would only recommend using the hotel for short stays (however, it is reasonably central and relatively undisturbed)

Wow what a mistake! Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Showed up to this hotel and the first room they put us in the shower was filthy! After moving us to a different room it was still gross so the cleaning lady came and cleaned the bathroom again. Stains still there (obviously permanent) and there was mold all on the shower curtain. Even better the plumbing in this hotel is horrible as both rooms reeked of sewage (which got worse as the night went on for obvious reasons). Worst part though you don’t even get a mattress! It’s the hardest matt with a sheet over it I’ve ever slept on. Don’t even bother getting suite (which we looked at to upgrade to make our stay better) because the bed & bathroom are the same! No AC in halls or elevator. Staff was super rude when we tried to check out day 2 of our 3 night stay saying they do not offer refunds. Mr. Sakda (apparently the manager) proceeds to yell at us in the lobby making us feel bad that we were unhappy and basically said there is nothing he could do. Horrible experience manager with 0 customer service. We ended up getting things resolved via or booking site. Almost ruined our vacay. Pay the extra money and stay at different hotel. NOT worth it. Don’t let the pics of this place online fool you.

We have stayed at this hotel 4 times over the years and I can safely say this is the last time we will stay here!! We had nothing but bad experiences… On check in we were told the room we had booked wasn’t available so we would have to stay in a lower class room and then change to the room we had booked and paid for the following day, we went along with this. We changed rooms the next day and from the minute we moved to the new room the air conditioner was not blowing cold air, over time it got a little cooler in the room but not comfortable enough to sleep luckily we had an electric fan of our own to get us through the night. This day I went down to use the pool and relax, I arrived at the towel station to find no towels in the tub, I asked a staff member who left me waiting 20 mins before telling me no towels for 30 mins and I have to come back!! I walked outside of the hotel and bought myself a new towel 350 baht so I could use the resort pool! The rooms are outdated and mirrors and bathrooms were dirty in both rooms, the outdoor setting is cheap and dirty and probably older than me, see photo! After a hot sleepless night we went to reception first thing in the morning and requested early check out 2 nights early, they tried to charge us for a Singha beer which they claim was taken from the mini bar but neither my partner or I drink beer so refused to pay! We left to go to another resort Baan Laimai which I highly recommend!!

I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times before and was looking forward to coming back - but this time was a disappointment.
The room we had at the back of the hotel was ok but the patio doors on to the balcony didn’t shut properly so the wind was howling and whistling through the gap all night as high winds blasted our room on the 10th floor.
For most of our stay the hotel keycard system wasn’t working so every time we wanted to access our room we had to go to reception and then wait for housekeeping to let us in.
The breakfast choice was really limited - it felt like the hotel were trying to save money on the quality and variety of food available.
Everything just felt dated at the hotel with no signs of major investment in anything for some time.
To block the wind coming through the gap in the patio door we tried to use the umbrella provided in the room as a makeshift windbreak. When we opened it it was so rusty it fell apart - as shown on the pictures.
The hotel have no irons in the room nor even to borrow one from housekeeping.

I want to write to you to tell you how impressed I am with your accommodations and your wonderful staff. Everyone has been so friendly and accommodating. Your accommodations are excellent and the staff has been so helpful and attentive. Your housekeeping staff, Supee, Lac and Nat have been so pleasant to be around and in particular Supee was very helpful in getting me settled. Everyone I have been in contact with has been a pure delight to be around. Supee in particular was very helpful in getting me settled and answering my questions. She greeted me every day with such positive energy and smiles, which always lifted my spirits. Thank you for all your support in making this one of my most pleasant experiences,
Sincerely,
Dr Timothy Ryan
