If you are in Phuket for business, I think this maybe the only reason you need to choose this place. Otherwise here is what we find out when we stay one week in the hotel and nothing corrected even after we visited the front desk with our list only a few minutes after our check-in - [ ] The TV is fuzzy and nothing in English to watch - [ ] The bathroom flush but everything still there - never fix - [ ] One one Oz shampoo for 2 guests regardless of tipping the housekeeper daily - maybe one day she forgot and left 2 for us - [ ] One instant coffee for each daily - they added one more after the complaint - [ ] One soap the size of my thumb only once when we check in and never replaced - this never corrected so we have to buy some shampoo and soap for our daily use - [ ] The most rude host we have to meet every morning in the breakfast club - [ ] My breakfast is not rice vegetables and meat. Mine is will not complete without my omelet. I was not aware I have to order it from our rude host. After 2 days when I lean and start order it from him it was very late and always wrong. It was very hard for me him to start my day dealing with this gentleman but he was the only one we have to let know our room number so he can let us in. - [ ] Nobody’s ever smile or even replay to to greeting ( except one guard we meet daily in the way to our breakfast). The biggest problem of all was the place is very far from everything and you have to pay $20 to $50 round trip to go anywhere. No beach in the resort and no shuttle even to take you to one. They are happy to call a taxi for you. Imagine, we have to go out twice a day. Do not think my review is only negative but I do not experienced anything positive to tell you about. I suppose to address my review about this hotel in this present days as “Ailing kingdom” even the room looks in great shape and recently renovated. So, it is only customer service, maintenance and amenities. I am sure the ownership understand you have to spend money to make money. We usually pay for customers service as in this case the name was the one fooled us. This was a travel Agancy booking that I will never forgive and next time I will make sure I make my own reservation as I always do so I can my own homework in advance.

Dear Aabbady, I'm genuinely saddened to read about your experience at our resort. Your comprehensive feedback provides a vital perspective which will aid us in elevating our service standards. I'm deeply concerned about the issues you've outlined, from fuzzy TV reception to the scarcity of amenities. We strive to offer an experience that is both comfortable and enjoyable, and clearly, we missed the mark during your stay. Our team's demeanor is certainly not reflective of our ethos, and I assure you that we will address this promptly. Your observations regarding our location and the lack of beach access, as well as transportation costs, are duly noted. We're always seeking to enhance our services, and your comments will greatly aid this process. Despite these shortcomings, I'm glad to learn that you found our rooms well-maintained. We're committed to ensuring that every aspect of our resort, from our amenities to our customer service, matches the quality our guests anticipate. Finally, please accept my apologies for the unsatisfactory booking process. I understand how critical convenience and transparency are, especially in travel planning. Please consider this incident as not representative of our usual service standards. We hope you will grant us another opportunity to make it right. Best regards, Thanawat Tunyawatsakul, Resort Manager

Rooms are nice but surroundings are just falling apart due to lazy staff. Breakfast is probably the most boring and should be a 1 star hotel. The Gym has no towels or wager glasses and you ask for then but never showed up. Room service knock on your door 8.30 and just walk in and clean, even if you say not nau they dont care. It just seems like the staff don't give a f... about the place and lack of management.

Serious safety incident
We had an experience that will never ever leave my mind. We booked our family holiday using a CO-OP travel in Nottingham who booked the package holiday through Jet-Set. Upon arrival the place had a bad vibe and no other guests there. I was handed a leaflet by the reception staff who proceeded to cross out all the amenities that were meant to come with the hotel such as free shuttle bus etc. When I attempted to question this I was told that since Covid nothing had been reinstated. The staff are locals who hardly speak a word of English. After 2 long flights my son gets into bed to find huge stains which I can only describe as sex stains. I rang reception who did organise staff to change the sheets however he made the bed with four different sets of sheets all were filthy which resulted in him getting new sheets fresh out of the packaging. Breakfast was unappetising and not much of a selection but when there are very few guests I see why. The jacuzzi bath that was attached to our room had a 30ft drop the other side which was not safe for my children. The decking around this was raised and my kids tripped up and stubbed their toes. I expressed my concerns to the travel agents and requested to be moved who told me that I needed to send photographs but this would take time because of the time difference. We went to the main pool and tried to make the most of our first full day. There is no safe way in or out of the pool. There is a 0.6m drop either side of the kids pool and 1m to the deeper pool. At the side of the kids pool was an unsightly WATER PUMP which I thought was odd and told my children to stay away from this however the pipes went into the pool. I was in the pool with my daughter and she got sucked under by the pipe attached to this water pump. The pipe had latched onto my daughters leg and I could not get it off because of the power of the suction. I moved backwards almost pulling the pump into the pool and finally got it off my five year old!! An AMBULANCE was called and we went to A&E together with Ava a representative from Wyndham group who had only been in the job 3 days. She was very nice and caring. There are electricity cables everywhere with no safety regulations in place to prevent accidents and deaths. The hospital staff even told me on the quiet that the maintenance man had been electrocuted and died at this resort. Thankfully there was no broken bones but this could’ve quite easily ended my daughters life. She was prescribed medication and after a long day I came back to the rest of my family at the hotel. We were all hungry and asked if we could have a complementary meal for what we had been through that day. The owner was in the bar/restaurant together with his wife who didn’t take kindly to this request. Because of the language barrier the situation got very heated and spiralled out of control whereby I felt very intimidated and threatened. I started crying and had to use google translate to try and calm the situation down. There were two female staff members who cried with me and were compassionate for which I am grateful. There was no need for any language in this moment as the pain was felt. I was told the owner felt disrespected by my request. Not once did he apologise for what had happened to my daughter. The owner and wife then left the bar and used this opportunity to go to our room and STEAL a diamond ring that my dad had purchased my mum before he passed away and also our money. This was not only very valuable but hugely sentimental. After we paid 6500 Baht for the meal, which is daylight robbery in Thailand we went back to our room to find we had been LOCKED OUT. I went to reception who reactivated our room cards because she felt sorry for us. Thanawat Tunyawatsakul who is the area manager not owner did come to see us and arranged for us to be moved the next day to Wyndham Grand but this was further away from Patong. Thanawat Tunyawatsakul did go above and beyond to help us for which we will be forever grateful. Before we went to the new hotel I was shocked to notice that the water pump had been moved to the deep end of the pool. Where is the common sense? Imagine it had have been her face? My daughter is now too afraid to go into a swimming pool and our holiday was ruined. The Thai police are involved together with my solicitors who I hope will compensate in some way and help us heal from this awful experience. The owner and wife are corrupt and an exception to the morals of Thai people. Shame on you! I hope this review saves someone else of having the misfortune of booking here.

Do not stay here. We travelled with owners of the Wyndham program and they were just as shocked as we were at the level of service from this property. We considered leaving after the second night. Staff were extremely rude, unable to explain anything. They were advertising the daily buffet everywhere throughout the resort but they said they don't do it anymore and never removed the signage. And still didn't after we questioned why it was still advertised. The spa is permanently closed but yet still advertised throughout the resort. The pool was ok but we found a few big chunks of some plastic thing a couple of times. The pool bar is also permanently closed. We asked if it was because it was low season and they said no it's their peak season but we saw no-one in the resort. Our friends had a 2 bedroom apartment and we stayed in the hotel room. The rooms were ok but the shower in our room went everywhere and the entire bathroom got wet. The air con in the 2 bedroom apartment died after a power outage and staff did not come and fix it. The room got hot very quickly but it was the last night so our friend just sucked it up. Our room was never cleaned before 4:30pm. So after spending a whole day out and coming back to the room we had to wait even longer because they were cleaning at this time. I understand if the resort is full and they are turning around for new check ins but I promise you the resort was empty. No more than a handful of families staying there. The resort offers a bus down to Patong beach but only 4 times a day. 10am, 11am, 3pm and 6pm. So you will need to pay for a taxi/tuk tuk back to the resort if you miss the bus. I would have at least expected one around 9pm for people who go down to the beach for dinner but there isn't one. A tuk tuk cost us between 300 and 400 baht because there was 7 of us. The breakfast buffet was minimal, same selection every day but considering there is nothing else around, you don't have a choice. If you want eggs you need to ask one of the waiters. Alpha restaurant has below average food so if youre eating here, stick to the Thai options. Everything else was expensive and not worth it. If you order something from the menu don't expect you're going to get it. The hot chips came cold, so we sent them back. The duck curry had no duck at all and was made with beef and the orders were taken incorrectly on one instance and the staff didn't understand as language was a huge barrier. The only bar at the resort doesn't open until 6pm and its in the restaurant but good luck trying to find a drink available. Every day our first selection of cocktail was not available as they apparently didn't have the ingredients. No matter what the cocktail was, there was always something "not available". The wine selection is terrible and over priced. We ordered room service one night and the staff tried to tell us we couldn't charge to the room, which we could. They kept saying over and over we had to pay cash or credit card and when we asked why or saying we didn't have either, they would pass us to speak to someone else who said the same thing and after 5 different people trying to tell us that, the staff hung up on us. When the food arrived an 1 hour later it was cold. We spoke to reception and they confirmed we can charge to the room but were also rude about it. Also the menus do not list everything that comes with the meal so be careful if you have allergies but good luck trying to find out what's in the food because the staff don't know and refuse to answer the questions. The resort is not walking distance to Patong beach and there are no foot paths to walk safely if you try. I recommend staying somewhere closer to Patong beach.

Not impressed at all. Jacuzzi not working properly and dirty. Lounge chairs at pool dirty and full of marks. Towels clean but old. Reception cannot communicate in English properly, it’s a struggle. No shuttle available so have to pay taxi fairs every time. Taxi drivers not good with English either. Restaurant breakfast ok if you enjoy cold food. Pestered to sit through a 90 minute timeshare presentation and be prepared to receive less than favourable treatment if you declined to buy in. Apparently the hotel is recovering after the pandemic but that is no excuse for basic cleanliness. Why open the resort to paying guests if it is not ready? Will not stay there again and will not recommend either.

I dont know where to start and where to end. We checked in and were so impressed by the lobby. Dont let it fool you though. Towels had holes, there were bugs in the room. Literally lizards too. There was ac but not working or cooling the room down. Hotel reception ladies were extremely rude and said we are aware of these issues but it is ok one or two bugs are ok. It was not one or two bugs!! There were literally ants and big roaches crawling. Most filthy experience. We checked out within 2hrs of fighting. They didnt refund our money and we left. It was money down the drain. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SCAM. This was our worst experience ever. I WISH IF I CAN UPLOAD A VIDEO. They tried to give us another room but each room had the same f issue! We have two kids with us and could not wait to run from that place.

I had a one night stay with family. the room was too dark, bath towels were rough and no longer looking white, the bed linen were stained and ripped, glad I brought my own towels. The whole place needs to be refurbished, I felt very uncomfortable being there and couldn’t wait to get back to my main luxury hotel.

Not worth the money at all. Many common areas were rundown and dirty, outdated and poorly maintained. Gym and pools were ok but pool bars were closed and very messy and dirty, sunbeds had many stains too. Many staff members were rather unfriendly and/or did not speak enough English for very basic communication. Not an ideal location, especially when travelling with young kids. Could be a decent resort if was well maintained and renovated but it was not. We left two days before the end of the booking without getting any money back but it was still worth it.

Unfortunately, the common areas were run down and dirty, and the staff members needed to be more friendly and speak more English. It sounds like the resort has a lot of potentials, but it needs to be better maintained and renovated for a more enjoyable experience. Do not be fooled by the pictures, it does not look like this since covid.
